I like that this brand Pure Formulas lists the ingredients and exactly what form they are in. Vitamin D works better when it has all the components that help it be absorbed better ie the Vitamin K and the GG-Gold. GG-Gold is a new type of supplement that not only helps with these ingredients be absorbed better but also works on supporting the muscles. GG-Gold acts similarly to the supplement CoQ . I ordered this Vitamin D3 because it specifically includes the Vitamin k. That is 1 less pill to take and 1 less serving of dark greens. The bonus is the GG-Gold. Nature and all natural things dont always work overnight so I cannot say if I noticed any benefit this quickly. I do know that something like this formula is important, and I will notice the benefit as I get older. Hoping to keep my bones, my heart and my muscles healthy. This is a trustworthy American brand. This supplement is non-GMO and Pure Formulas has the cGMP badge. The capsules are smallish and have no taste. I did not experience any GI problems with this either. I trust this brand and I trust the quality of their products and this VitaminD3. I am very happy with this formula, and I do recommend it.

I use this type of high potent vitamin D and K capsules especially during winter months ince I like in New England. This is a monthly supply of high quality ingredient capsules. Capsules are small easy to swallow.

I was taking just D3 but then I learned that it gets absorbed much better if you take it with K2. It's so nice to be able to get one supplement with both vitamins and it's nice to know the D3 is absorbed so much better. These are large capsules but they are easy to swallow with a glass of water and the quality of the supplement is very good.

I use calcium support my bones and teeth and I decided to try Pure Formulas Vitamin D3 K2 for absorption support.I have bused the entire bottle. I am not sure of all the benefits inside of me, but what was noticeable and could be related was how healthy my hair looks and it has grown; I started walking practically daily for a month and for several miles, yet, my ankles were strong, and I had no swelling as I did during the same time period last year. I have certainly not noticed any negative side effects. I like how small the capsules are and how easy they are to absorb. They had no particular flavor, which is a plus for me.I would recommend these supplements.

It could have been a 5 star review if the marketing team didn't insist in making all these wild claims about what taking vitamin D3 in pill form could do to humans. Of course, the best way to obtain vitamin D is to spend some time outdoors but, taking one pill per day should do no harm, especially in the winter when the sunlight comes at a premium.Other than that, the product appears to be well made, the ingredients appear to be largely wholesome and I've noticed to adverse side effects or reactions after taking one pill per day for the past month or so, therefore it's not bad.

We are an indoor society these days, and unlike our ancestors, we wear clothes and sunscreen.However, too much Vitamin D and Vitamin K lead to a series of side effects from vomiting, loss of appetite, weakness…etc to kidney failure.In conclusion is good to consult with your doctor before taking and supplements.This product comes in small capsules and recommended dose is one a day. Very easy to swallow, with no odor and aftertaste.It is manufactured for PureFormulas in Miami, FL - but it doesn’t say where is manufactured or where the ingredients are coming from.Overall a good product.

So I didn't realize until after ordering this product that the typical D3:K2 ratio isn't used. In past reviews of D3+K2 products, I've used the term "standard" rather than "typical" to describe a ratio of 125mcg to 100mcg, but research apparently hasn't conclusively reached a consensus on the appropriate ratio to use even though this ratio is common. That said, all products I've seen have always assigned a greater weight to D3 than K2, and interestingly, Pure Formulas does the opposite. Pure Formulas uses the standard 125mcg of D3 per capsule, but the amount of K2 is also 10x that of 100mcg, and additionally, the same amount of K1 is also included in each capsule. As such, I've decided to set aside this product for now. One additional aspect of this product arguably worth pointing out, however, is that it also includes GG-Gold, American River Nutrition's patented form of Trans-Geranylgeraniol that I haven't seen in other products. The founder of American River Nutrition refers to GG-Gold as "the ultimate statin companion" because it provides the basis for skeletal muscle production. Among other things, Geranylgeraniol (GG) is a plant-based nutrient that is responsible for the synthesis of vitamin K, so this might explain why such a high composition of K is used in this product, but Pure Formulas doesn't provide an explanation in the product description here. Some might be interested in knowing that GG-Gold rides on another product called DeltaGold that I've seen in a few other products, and both are derived from the annatto plant.
