This is a good carrier. My 16-17 pound dog fits in it just fine. I bought it because I want to bring my dog with me on a airplane and needed a very light carrier since my dog is already heavy enough to carry around. The carrier with the fleece mat weight about 1.8lb. Its about the same size as the Sherpa just a different shape so its a bit more snug on the top but still comfortable and not as heavy. The only negative is that there is no convenient zipper on the top for the dog to get in. My dog does not like travel bags so its a bit tricky to get him in. But other than that it is exactly what I was looking for. It is big and sturdy enough, fits under the airplane seat and is light.

These are awesome! Delivered in time to evacuate Hurricane Irma. My 18lb ginger boy loved his little house so much he stayed in there the whole time we were in Georgia running from the hurricane. My other cat seemed to not mind as well on a long stressful road trip. You can wash the fleece which is a nice feature, and it zips at both ends for easy access getting cats in or out, or just saying hello. I love them so much, I ordered a third to replace a hard carrier that my other cat used for the trip, the only one that cried the whole time.

The carrier appears sturdy enough. It has plenty of "loading options" with its zippers but in reality the carrier is not as large as I thought it might be. Our cat is only 11 pounds but he is a *long* cat and getting him in the bag was not easy. Still though he can turn around in the bag. I find the bottom fake wool pad disappointing as the sides of the pad just fall over onto the bottom If I were to every buy another cat carrier, I think I would go to a pet store where I could kick the tires.

The carrier is great, but when I try to use the shoulder strap it goes a little wonky and my pup ends up on the side. It's easy enough to carry with the handles, so that's what I did. There was plenty of room for my 11 lb pup and it's great quality.

Nice carrier at a great price. I use it to carry around my 20 lb elderly pug. My only complaint would be the plastic clips and rings for the straps. It seems like they will fail eventually, I will be replacing them with metal rings.

Very nice sturdy cat carrier. It's roomy enough for my cat to stand up and turn around and he's 14lbs!

Just what I wanted a bag that i can carry with the pet inside or walk the pet and put away in a little carry sack on my back. Awsome plane travel bag
