bed sores, only sleep on one side, nearly bedbound so it gets very sore

Does the job but not for sleeping
If you’re awake and need to protect your ear then this works fine, but it doesn’t work for sleeping. The firm pillow is comfortable for a short time but can’t lie down as too high and velcro comes off during night due to movement.

Good for piercings
I bought this pillow to prevent myself sleeping on a fresh ear piercing. The elastic headband has velcro so does a good job staying in place. It's not the most comfortable to sleep on but does protect my ear!

does the job
took a few nights to get used to this as I am a side sleeper but certainly helped the sore on my ear caused by certain headphones I use all night listening to music and meditation to help me sleep. Sore has nearly healed. Had to adjust a few times to it sat loose on my head rather than too tight

Good idea, the elastic is annoying though and pillow seems smaller than the one in the pictures.
I thought this might be quite useful, sometimes I get sore patches on my ears when I sleep on my side, I wasn't intending on using this all the time but gave it a go anyway.What I found was that the elastic is really annoying and although it's a very simple idea, I didn't really like it.I also found that the pillow I received wasn't really as large as the one I was looking at in the pictures, and therefore wasn't quite the right size for me.Good idea… But depends if you can put up with the elastic I think.

Serves a purpose
This ear cushion has been really good in improving my sleep quality since I can now lie on my right side without my ear being pressed which could sometimes cause my ear to become blocked. Very happy with this.
