Wet & Forget Outdoor Cleaner & Stain Remover, Xtreme Reach Hose End, 48oz

I have been using Wet & Forget for years. Just spray it and within a few short days, my vinyl fence looks like I power washed it. Absolutely the best option to remove mildew and summer mold.

This works far better than any of the other mildew removal products that you can purchase in the stores and I have purchased it many times. In attaches to the end of your hose and spray on any moldy surface. It feels like it doesn’t work because when you’re done, the mold is still there but go back several days later and it is gone

Pretty easy to use, especially with this bottle design. Don't expect it to kill everything and totally clear out with one application; it'll probably take several applications. It works better in places where the sun hits and dries, but, of course, algae grows worse on shady places anyway. Seems to work okay on everything from wood to shingles to metal. So yes, it works. Not like a dream, but okay. It seems like it'd be faster just to scrub the stuff off, but if there are places you can't easily get to with your arm and would sooner spray, this is an okay alternative.

Purchased ahead for handy man to use when doing work. Product won't spray. Hose is connected to it, has plenty of pressure from hose/spigot, tried "water" position and "on" position yet nothing happens. Unscrewed cap with tube that goes into bottle to see if something blocking but no, this sprayer just doesn't work. I see online, many others have had same issue. Purchased ahead of time to be ready for when handyman came to house to do projects so now second problem, the Amazon return date is passed. Called Wet and Forget company customer service to get refund. The call goes to general mailbox to leave a message which is what I did. Waiting to hear back for refund. Hoping company does the consumer right thing and refunds money spent. We will see ..... Note: have used the chemical itself in the past (liquid in jug poured into a separate small sprayer tank container) and has worked pretty good however current project of spraying mildew on long driveway tedious with small tank sprayer which is why I purchased the hose end sprayer to make job easier and faster.

A friend of mine told me about this, as I have mold growing on the side of my house too far up for me to reach, so I purchased this and was able to do my entire thousand square-foot house with it, you literally just wet it and forget it, some stains, go away quickly others take a little time, but once it dries it adheres to mold, etc., and when it rains the dirt and mold fall off, make sure to keep animals off of any product that falls to the ground until the ground is completely dry , I paid $40 for this rather than paying $200 to have my house power washed. I think that's a great deal.

Well... it's easy to use. It goes "a long way" - longer than I thought (as far as depleting the bottle goes). It also does have a nice, high reach (I have a 2 story Colonial and it reaches just to the edge of the roof - but not the actual roof). But I have seen absolutely no difference in the cleanliness of the siding. I washed, let it sit, and waited. Nothing. No improvement. Maybe I have to wash again? And again? I really soaked it well so I don't know if my expectations are too high? Front of my home faces north so it gets that lovely green on it. We've had our house powerwashed professionally a couple of times, I own a powerwasher that reaches through the first floor... but I really needed something to get beyond the first level without using a ladder (I'm not comfortable with a ladder). I had high expectations... maybe too high? I see zero difference. Womp Womp.

Now this stuff really works, use it on my metal roof over hanging. My basement roof step area and use it on my concrete patio. Both of them had some green and black on them, also used it on my back basement steps. It cleaned them beautifully. And all I did was use a little bit of power washer to get it totally done. But it rained a torrential rain. The next night and almost all the green was gone. And with the power washer, the black was gone. Faster too, but it really, really helps get rid of it. Fast looks great

If you aren't into instant gratification and don't mind waiting, this stuff works! Had green growth on our vinyl siding and got tired of pressure washing it every year and tried this. I got good results. Might not take everything off like a pressure washer if it's in a sheltered area like under a overhang as it needs exposure to weather off the old residue, but it's way easier and much faster than pressure washing.
