100 FT Sewer Jetter Kit for Pressure Washer, 5800PSI Drain Cleaner Hose

Keeps my root loving sewer line clear! My sewer line has roots about 120ft down which has caused many backups. Tired of cleaning stuff of the basement floor after spending tons of money with drain cleaning services, I tried this out! Appears to have standard connections for my pressure washer, connected easily. The multiple heads worked great. I started with the unblocking jet to open the line, then finished with the 360 degree cleaning head. Now I spend just an hour, four times a year, running the cleaning head and all has been well! The extra wrenches and Velcro storage strap complete this nice setup.

I purchased this to clear a 75 foot long yard drain. Setup was easy and it attached to my Honda GCV 190 with no issues. At the outlet end the drain transitions to corrugated pipe with a couple of bends. Previously I could never get past the bends and the corrugated pipe caused issues as well. The nozzle shoots water to the rear literally propelling it forward through the pipe. It took me about five minutes to clear all the debris in the corrugated pipe and work it past the bends. After that it propelled itself all the way up to the inlet side of the drain. I pulled it back slowly clearing debris form the outlet and was very pleased with the result.

This product is awesome. I am so happy I found it. Cleaning out my drainage pipe was so easy with this! I had tried using a drain snake, but the 3" drainage pipe was just too much room for the snake to tangle around itself. I tried sticking the garden hose up the drain, but it just didn't have enough pressure to break through the clog. This, with the backward jets, helps feed itself up the drain. It took some time to break through multiple clogs in my drain, but it did eventually go. I took a star away because the videos show this connecting directly to the pressure washer, but my gas powered washer uses 3/8" quick connects from the washer to the wand. This kit does not have the proper connection for that. I had to install this on the end of the wand via the 1/4" quick connect. This meant I had to hold the trigger of the wand with one hand while feeding the hose with the other. Not exactly convenient, but it worked.

I have a drain system in my front yard that has been giving me trouble recently. There are a total of three catch basins feeding into a 4" corrugated pipe to carry water out of my front yard. I ordered this jet kit to see if I could clear them rather than dig them up and replace the pipe. The kit comes with everything shown and each nozzle provides a different function. I just picked one at random and tightened it down onto the 100' hose using the supplied thread tape and wrenches. There is a way to connect this line to the trigger handle of the pressure washer, but I didn't bother to educate myself on that. I connected it straight to the washer. This works, but be ready to get wet because there is no easy way to turn off the water. I fed the line into the first drain and patience is required because it takes some working back and forth to move it through. You may see some videos on youtube showing the hose pulling itself through the pipe, but it didn't work that way for me on corrugated drain pipe. I found that going forward and then slightly backward is the way it worked best for me and I could feel it punch through each clog. After a success with my drain pipes I decided to feed it into my gutter downspouts and it blasted out leaves and crud to clear those out as well. My final verdict is if this product saves you on one plumber visit it has been worth the money because no plumber will come clear a drain line for 60.00! If he does you won't be able to get him to your house because he will stay covered up with work from other customers. I am going to try this out on my sewer tail lines this spring to see if it helps with some slow drainage there. Five stars!

Well, it did the trick clearing the drains. Easy to use and fit well in the pipes. A little tough if there are multiple quick sharp 90 degree turns as the head gets hung up in tight spaces. I cleared 1.5" pipes off of three sinks entering after the traps. Take care as the clearing means moving the clog down the drain further in some cases. I do think this tool helped and overall was a nice addition to my tools. Straighter runs would be a breeze. Also United States plumbing with correct drain fittings would be better than my 90 degree turns on a villa overseas.
