I bought this and mounted to a camera tripod to shoot from. It holds my 223 just fine and it way cheaper that buying shooting tripods.

Holds rifle steady while using my own tripod, highly recommend this product!!!

Not quite what I was hoping for but I don't always look at the measurements of what I'm trying to use this for. It held my hunting pistol but not quite firm as I was hoping but all in all a decent boom stick holder

There are a couple of really good reviews already posted for this product. The ad listing does a good job of describing this Rifle Clamp and the actual device lives up to it’s billing. So, I am going to present a different view.I have a couple of other Shooting Saddles from a company called Manbilly.This Trakiom Universal Rifle Clamp is a very similar design. In comparison, It is much more lightweight, made from inferior materials, with not as good fit and finish. The locking wheel is plastic and the drive mechanism is not very smooth. The rubber on the Manbilly is much thicker and more robust. It’s jaws have greater range and strength. Movements are silky smooth and it has an Arca Swiss mount in addition to 3/8 and 1/4 inch tripod sockets. There is, IMHO, nothing to recommend this Trakiom Universal Rifle Clamp over the Manbilly U3, with the exception of price. Both clamps feature two moving jaws that keep the rifle centered over the clamp. This is desirable for superior balance and weight distribution. Manbilly has a less expensive model, for about the same price as this Trakiom, that only moves one jaw and doesn’t have that balance advantage.Will the Trakiom Rifle Clamp do the job? Definitely, yes, it will. If your focus is on economy products that do the job, this is the one you want. If, on the other hand, you prefer a higher quality product and are willing to pay for it, the Manbilly is a 5 and this one is at best, a three. And, of course, there are other players than these two. “You pays your money and you takes your choice”.
