As a scientist, I am very much not a "chemicals are coming to kill us all" person. HOWEVER, I am absolutely terrified by the reliable evidence that has come out on benzene (an incredibly dangerous carcinogen), and even more terrified that a watchdog group (Valisure if you want to read the report) has continued to detect extremely high levels of benzene in aerosol dry shampoos that claim to be "benzene free." I ultimately had to just throw out all of my beloved dry shampoos because it became clear that none of the major brands were trustworthy. My oily scalp has suffered for MONTHS because it didn't occur to me than non-aerosol dry shampoos exist. I rarely write reviews, but this product has been a lifesaver! No scent, and it's easy to brush the powder residue in so that it doesn't show, even on my dark brown hair. I have psoriasis on my scalp, and I have noticed that this is little bit more drying than aerosol dry shampoo, but it's not irritating and well worth the safety!

This has a good scent, but I don’t think it would hold up to greasy fine hair after a couple of days without washing. It’s tacky and good for a little bit of volume refresh for next day hair. The application is nice and doesn’t get everywhere like other powders.

I’ve tried so many dry shampoos in spray form and never liked them no matter what brand it was. I always got that sticky yucky feeling . This product is amazing !!! Very convenient to pack and go too!! The best part is it doesn’t leave you that horrible sticky filling and gets right to the source making your hair feel just washed clean filling … I highly recommend and have actually bought a full supply so I never run out !

I have only used this once so far. I have very thick hair so I had a hard time brushing it out.

You really don’t need a lot. It works very well.

Best dry shampoo we’ve found. Easy to use.

I have fine hair that starts getting oily the day after a wash. This dry shampoo leaves my hair slightly more stiff than I’d like. It definitely decreases the oily feel and look, but I wish it left my hair a little softer. I will still use it again, but prefer the Trader Joe’s brand to this one for my hair.
