does it change colors to what is on the tv screen?

Actually it does change colors to what showing on the TV. But you will need the Govee Deamview Immersion T1 or T2 and sync the lights with these in order for it work with the colors showing on the TV. I have these light synced with my Govee immersion T2.

I want to deck my car with christmas colored lights that flash to christmas music. i want it to be usb, but this is not long enough. suggestions?

The strip light with a USB plug is 2 meters. It is not recommended connecting extra strip light to make a longer string because of the power issue. The voltage drop may cause the strip light to show different colors or brightness if they are connected continuously.

You can connect your own music to lights?
