I picked up some tricks and tips from youtube videos which were not on the instructions, but overall good instructions. The pattern is very tradtional cross stitch in my eyes but its lovely and i am planning on doing it again as a gift. More than enough thread to complete and make a few mistakes like i did haha. I would advise getting one of the hoops to stretch the fabric, I started the pattern without one and my hand cramped so bad. I got one of the hoops and it became so much easier. I feel confident after this sampler and i'm doing a much bigger one now.
