The device works really well!
I love the way it easily assembles. No problem sorting all the different pieces, and fitting them together. The pressurised gun isn't noisy, just a phutt 😊.I have used it to access the cavity between my upstairs sloping ceiling and roof. I wore a good face mask when operating the device, and used cayenne pepper to deter rodents from coming in through gaps in the tiles (it's a fairly old house) and then through the overlap of the roof felt.If this doesn't work, nothing will 🤞🤞🤞We haven't had a problem with wasps this year, but if we do, then this will definitely do the trick.PS have only used from inside the loft so far.

Effective and easy to use
You are never too sure when ordering in a product like this that it really will work. Well, you'll be more than pleasantly surprised by this kit. Usable straight out of the box, it is super easy to put together and comes with ready to use powder pellets which can then be refilled with the wasp powder included. There are gloves, a funnel and even foam stoppers to do recharge the pellets. I didn't need to, as the ones supplied were enough to kill three wasp nests. All at roof height and with the 3m application rod, the easy ( and quite fun) pump to release the powder directly into the nest with a variety of application tubes, I never felt threatened by the wasps. They were all gone inside 24 hours. I feel sorry for our regular pest control man. He'd done 3 nests for us this year already and I thought it worth trying to do it myself. I'm not sure we'll need him back again.

Make sure get one long enough
Worked well for rid of our wasps. Got fed up of paying every year for someone else to do it. Only thing was took a few goes and tying onto an additional pole as our house is quite high and an extra pole would have helped so measure carefully. Good product though no wasps now!

Better than i expected.
We'd only recently noticed the large amount of wasps hanging round the roof area near our spare bedroom window. The council had replaced the guttering last year and very kindly damaged the boards that left a gap into the loft. The wasps obviously seized on this perfect opportunity to build a nest.I called the council who informed me they no longer do pest control and put me in touch with a company called SDK environmental (Dial-a-Pest) who quoted £45 per treatment and i'd have to take days off work. I told them to s** off and researched the DIY method of getting rid of wasps. We tried the foam treatment bought from a DIY store which had some impact but the wasps just became really angry. It was impossible to get the foam into the entrance hole.I then found this product here on Amazon and read the reviews and looked at the instructions for use on line and although it's more expensive than the pest company's initial treatment quote, i decided that once it's been bought we can keep it for future use.Delivery was very quick and after a lot of reading and watching the Youtube video assembled the rod, pump gun and powder. We didn't need to use a ladder as the pole extended far enough to reach the wasps entrance hole and blasted the powder in. We used another dose and blasted that into the hole. The wasps went crazy and poured out of the hole but didn't fly away. They just stayed around the nest area for a while. The following morning we sat and watched expecting to see a stray wasp or two but there was nothing. We've seen wasps in the garden and we've been getting rid of those too but there has been no activity near the wasp nest area since. We'll probably blast the hole again next week just in case but i think the job has been done. The kit that you receive has everything you really need for doing the job. You also get plenty of spare powder to recharge the cartridges and a handy little funnel to help pour the powder in to the cartridges. You get a shorter pole for use on nests that aren't too high up and, of course, the really long pole that reaches about 3 metres fully extended. The only things that could improve this product are comprehensive written instructions included in the kit and if it were possible directional tubing to go on the end of the pipe as it was a little awkward to get the powder blasting into the hole accurately enough. This kit really is worth every penny. It has ended up costing me a bit more than getting the useless pest control company in but we can keep the kit for future use and i didn't lose wages through having to be off work. So i think i've actually saved money. My tips for using it would be to either treat at dusk or very early in the morning. Apparently the majority of the wasps will be in the nest at these times. Always wear the gloves and one of those dust masks as there's a fair bit of dust flying around. If you have to get near to the nest then try to put some protective clothing on if possible. Once you've blasted the powder, the wasps go mad and may sting.Because we did our treatments at dusk, we spray painted the target area with a luminous paint so we could see exactly were we needed to aim the pole at in bad light.Replacement powder (should you really need it) is available from Amazon.

Worked for me - but needed some 'tweaking'.
This kit worked for me - but it took a few goes for my first nest, as the nest was inside the cavity wall, and the pests were entering via several different places. Its unfortunate that the kit doesnt include parts that allow the lance to be used for more awkward nest positions. I had to make various 'nozzles' (out of cheap plumbers elbow and right angled tubing) to be able to direct the dusting, as out of the box the lances only points in a straight line. However, the three metre pole is very good for getting distance - when using this, the patroling wasps werent bothered (although I didn't stay close particularly long!).Another snag for me - I dropped the pump (before first use) onto concrete - admittedly whilst up the ladder onto the first floor - and it broke the pump handle. The plastic is a bit brittle. However, easily glued back together. I would have been furious with myself if it had broken beyond repair, as the high pressure pump would be difficult to make otherwise !

Reach is good powder must be talc
I’ve put 4 shots into the nest under the eves and no difference in the amount of wasps?!I’ve no idea if the wasp powder is genuine or just talc but it has done nothing!
