A solid, basic, PoE switch. Very compact. Can work in less than ideal environments (dusty, hot) without apparent adverse issues.

Works as intended. I've had it running for a while now with no issues.

When you need a few ports to power your security cameras. This works well for a unmanaged gigabit PoE switch. Coupled together with a Netgear MESH system, I added two IP cameras to a stand alone shed in the yard.

Work great no issues

I am using this to operate 5 POE IP cameras and one network bridge. Although I've only been using it for a day so far, it's working fine. I had an SG1008PE for a couple of years and in the last few weeks it was not able to keep up with the load. Cameras were dropping off and coming back on periodically. Since I replaced that switch with this new one, I have not had any issues. I don't expect my switches to work forever as I have them installed in the attic and I live in a hot environment. My attic is routinely 120 degrees or more in the summertime.

ease of set up , if you are power IP cameras , make sure that the POE switch gets connect direct to the router not to the NVR , you will only see one camera , if you have multiple cameras you can in put them manually

I got this to power (POE) four HD security cameras and it has worked perfectly for a year now. I am completely happy with it. It is pumping a ton of 720P video data 7 days a week 24 hours a day and has been very reliable. There are brief occasions when I lose signal from one or another of the cameras but I can't be sure whether to blame the camera or the switch. I'd think if it was the switch, it would affect all four cameras at once, and that's not what I'm seeing. It was absolutely painless to hook up and there was nothing to configure and no software I needed to install. A few times I've knocked loose the switch's power cord. For something you want "always on", perhaps the power connection could be a little more permanent. Shortly after installing the cameras and before I had them fully weatherproofed, it rained and shorted out one camera. Taking it apart, I even saw an electrical burn where the POE power enters the camera. I thought "great, that's probably blown my switch too" but no, whether by design or by good luck, the switch withstood this event and when I connected another camera the port in question was still able to provide power. The only thing I'd do different next time is shop around for a gigabit switch. If there wasn't much of a price difference, I'd get the faster switch just to accommodate future growth. Nevertheless this one is keeping up just fine with my present network load.

Also ich habe dieses Geräte nun schon eine Weile und dieses hat mich derzeit noch nicht im Stich gelassen daher kann ich dieses nur weiter empfehlen.

Es un producto de calidad, pequeño y cumple con su función, excelente para ampliar tus puertos de ethernet con el pues de la tecnología PoE. Su carcasa es de metal y pesa, a pesar de su tamaño que cabe aproximadamente en la palma de tu mano. Viene con unas patitas de goma para colocar en un estante, también lo puedes colocar en la pared empotrado.
