Much less expensive than a power sharpener that I have previously used and just as effective, if not better.It has returned a really good edge to some well used older knives with just a few minutes work for each. I do complete with a chef's steel but this little unit does the hard work.Note that if your knives have been sharpened by hand on a stone and/or steel then this unit will correct the angle. It's a little alarming as one sees metal filings gathering in the holder but keep with it. Once the angle of the edge has been corrected no further filings will be removed and the edge becomes invisible - as it should.Really pleased with this purchase. It may not last a year in our school kitchen but at the cost replacing one a year is acceptable.

The sharpener is so smart and useful for me! I run a restaurant so that I need to use sharpener often. It work quickly for many knives we have. I like white sharpening stone piece a lot as it could work well for small knife. I was very favorably impressed with the quality of it's performance.

not exactly the best knife sharpener, comfortable to use, but needs a lot of work to sharpen a blade

The product is light, easy to hold and safe to use.It sharpens quickly and well while not making much noise at all.Personally I think its perfect but then again I only use it for regular household knives.

Did a great job of sharping our knives which has all become quite blunt and difficult to cut things with. All good now.
