Fits as expected based on the size chart. I have a 35” waist and I ordered the Large size. More of a royal blue than a navy blue. Lined with white fabric in front, unlined in back. White flat drawstring that ties on the inside. Adequate coverage in back, with minimal coverage on sides and in front. Slightly skimpier than a speedo solar. Great for tanning. ( I didn’t like the outside side tag, so I cut it off and plucked the remaining white threads from the seam.) Overall I’m very happy with this one!

Lite pink color not as pictured.Very skimpy and low cut but full back coverage. Front pouch may be too small for above average equipment.

Would definitely buy again
