Perky-Pet210PB Pinch Waist Glass Hummingbird Feeder

I’m happy with the size of this feeder. The perches don’t seem very sturdy so I’m anxious to see how they hold up in the sun. It’s easy to clean the glass part of the feeder - the petals for feeding, not so much. The hook included for hanging is very small and doesn’t make for easy hanging. My purchase was based on the brand name, price and volume of liquid it holds. I’m satisfied enough with this feeder to purchase another one.

Perky Pet products are good and last for years.I don't know of any hummingbird feeder that is bee proof though.The orioles use them too plus the finches.I like the wide mouth as it's easy to fill and clean.Also, the ant mote is nice.

Item presents as pictured/described. Shipping was prompt, so item was received in good time. Size seems to be good in that I'm not having to waste much of the sugar water in between necessary cleanings. Set up is also easy to clean using standard bottle cleaning supplies.

This was exactly what I was looking for to replace my older, smaller feeder that finally broke. looks good, good quality, good capacity as I wanted a bit more capacity than the 8 ounces of my old feeder. The problem is that the base holds a lot of nectar so when you fill the bottle, screw on the base, and turn it over, a lot of nectar drops into the base, leaving the bottle right around half full. While it is holding the full 16 ounces, it seems like there should be a way to keep the bottles full, along with the base to maximize the capacity. There is. What I do is fill the base and bottle with nectar. Place a piece of cardboard (a piece of a cereal box or Coke 12 pack) over the opening of the bottle, turn it over (the cardboard keeps the nectar in the bottle), place it over the base, pull the cardboard out quickly, and screw the bottle into the base. Very little spills and I get to use the full capacity of the feeder. A quick rinse just to get rid of any spilled nectar and I hang them up. Not as easy as filling and hanging my old one but it only takes a few extra minutes.

Is the smaller correct size… It’s not the big one where the water goes bad quicker.

Very good design no leakage

I purchased 4 Perky-Pet® Pinch-Waist Glass Hummingbird Feeder with Free Nectar, Model #: 203CPBN, all 4 leaked, (not badly) but after a few days you could see that the levels of nectar had decreased, (in all four feeders). Now I know that the resident Hummingbird we had did not consume that much nectar. I called Perky Pet to explain that these feeders leaked. I was given the exact response you gave here,(canned). Perky Pet sent me replacements and asked that I try just one of them to see if the same thing happened. I sadly report that it did.This is how I found out that they leaked. The Hummingbird would not go to the feeding ports but hover underneath the feeders. Finding this a curious behavior I checked and noticed drops under the feeders. Tasting these drops proved the nectar was leaking. I also pulled off one the bee guard cages and found that the hummingbird would now visit the feeding port. Yes this is a separate issue however this all leads to the problems with this feeders design.I then purchased the Model #: 210PB feeder which is the one being complained about here. These also leak and worse than the original ones I first purchased. From under all of the bee guard petals you can clearly see leakage. Tasting the drops that form under the feeder you will taste the sweetness of nectar and our resident hummingbird again chooses to hover underneath the feeder rather than visit the feeding ports.I was surprise when told I didn’t need to return the defective feeders because they would only be destroyed, further evidence that Perky Pet knows these feeders are defective and leak badly.I will not be purchasing any more bird feeders from Perky Pet.

I have had these for awhile now. They are large so don’t get them if u don’t have a lot of hummers. But they have leaked every time I have used them. I wanted to like them. I have gone back to my more birds glass brand

My hummingbirds love this feeder. I purchased other ones and they hardly fed from it, but with this one, they all congregated to it. On top of that, this feeder is the easiest to clean. Had to buy a second as more birds were coming. Highly recommend it.

A un precio bastante razonable, encontré este bebedero con tecnología, no se derrama, no abejas, no hormigas, no murciélagos, fácil de lavar.

It would be nice if there were perches for the hummingbirds on this feeder.
