I chose this because a colour wheel is great for anyone who works with colour. Especially anyone who paints, but also when painting your house. Or showing others what you mean by something like a hue, shade and tint.Using one can also increase my working speed as it allows me to place a colour on the wheel. Then simply looking over and finding it's matching complementary, analogous or harmonious colour. What's especially nice about this one is it also explains colour theory and colour schemes.Though, while a really useful tool, it does have several first world annoyances. Firstly it's made from thinnish cardboard, which while wipe clean, isn't that strong.So this isn't likely to last very long in our workshop, not good for something costing nearly 7 quid.Secondly is the packaging, this arrived in a thin tight fitting cellophane bag. A bag that has an adhesive strip on the top, a strip that can catch and rip the wheel. Though if you can live with those minor annoyances, it's a great tool, one that made me happy.
