The Adventures Of Tom Bombadil

An absolutely beautiful edition worth collecting
The Adventures of Tom Bombadil and Other Verses from the Red Book is a collection of poetry written by J. R. R. Tolkien. The book features the amusing and enigmatic Tom Bombadil, one of the most intriguing characters in The Lord of the Rings. He appears in verses said to have been written by Hobbits and preserved in the ‘Red Book’ with stories of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins and their friends, mainly concerned with legends and jests of the Shire at the end of the Third Age.This revised and expanded special edition includes previously unpublished poems and notes, a fragment of a prose story with Tom Bombadil, comprehensive notes by acclaimed Tolkien scholars Christina Scull and Wayne G. Hammond and is beautifully illustrated by Narnia artist Pauline Baynes. Its a very beautiful book and no Tolkien collection is complete without it.

Buen producto
Las ilustraciones son muy bonitas, es un libro con tamaño de bolsillo, el único detalle es que esa editorial hace el cubre polvo de papel (papel mate más delicado que los lustrosos o tinta de barniz)

A beautiful collection of Tolkien's poems
The merry Tom Bombadil is an extremely odd character of mysterious origin who makes his main appearance in one chapter of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Lord of the Rings'. This collection features two of his adventures presented in poetic form, along with fourteen other works about faeries, trolls, an oliphaunt and other supernatural creations. My personal favorites were the two Tom Bombadil tales, 'Errantry', 'Shadow Bride' and 'Princess Mee'. I would recommend this to fans of Tolkien's works of all ages.
