This raised garden bed is NOT flimsy by any means. It is easy to put together and heavy. The color is as pictured. I just wish it would of come in a 2 ft tall option for this size. Otherwise it works great! I would buy again.

This company packs well for no damage - the product was perfect! Put it together on an old blanket to prevent scratches. Easy assembly! Started all loosely by hand, then went back around and used my drill the hand tool provided to tighten them all securely. 1 hour to assemble 2 of these taking my time. Will definitely be buying more!

This is a nice quality raised bed at a reasonable price. It was fairly easy to put together with the provided tools. I did end up getting out a power drill just to make it go a little quicker, but it’s not needed at all. The last piece does take a little muscle to get into place to the holes line up, but still totally manageable for one person to do. I got the 4ft one and will most likely buy again from this brand if I need another in the future.

These aren't exactly competitively priced, but they are very good quality. I was confused as to the claim of powder coated galvanized layers being combined. You can powder coat on top of galvanized metal but the galvanized layer would be on top of the stainless steel. However, it is a powder coated layer on top of a galvanized layer and those together are .2mm on each side.This powder coating is nice and thick feeling.Putting the planter together was straightforward. The included Phillips headed screwdriver seemed to want to strip the screws. It is the wrong size for the included screw heads. I would love to see some mini JIS screwdrivers because those are the best, but that's probably asking too much. However you consider it though, wrong sized screwdriver= screw heads that want to strip.If you have tools, grab a 10mm socket and ratchet and the job will go faster. I did about 70% of the work with the included tools before switching over to a correct sized screwdriver and a 10mm ratchet and the process went faster and smoother.There appears to be a 3 year warranty with this company for this planter. I'm not sure what that entails or covers and how difficult or easy the process would be. But East Oak seems to be trying to be a step above the cheapest options, and the planter does appear to be quality.In terms of planting, remember lasagna layers so you don't have to fill it with a ton of dirt/compost. Cardboard, sticks/logs, mulch and then whatever depth of dirt you need. These are a breeze to put together even with a toddler helping out. Super sturdy and well made, I purchased the 4ft and the 6ft. No sharp edges at all and the matte coating is really great.
