Review: They work well at removing flavors and smells. - They work well at removing flavors and smells from my well water. It wasn't a whole lot, but I could tell. I have a UV light after my filters so my water is safe. So, I decided to use one of these as my final filter before the water enters my UV light. Very happy. Worth the cost and I didn't really notice any drop in water pressure.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid filter
*by N***T on June 12, 2025*

This a hard shell carbon filter that appears to live up to its 1 micron rating, as I was able to achieve less 5 ppms of dissolved solids (TDS). The gaskets are set in place fine so they remain put during installation (a prior review said they weren’t). No instructions were provided for flushing, but I flushed it for ten minutes before using it to filter water as is typical.
