I bought this for my mom who lives ~800 miles away as a "just because I love you" gift. I provided moral support via a phone call while she set it up and then sent the connection code to my several family members. Wen she woke up the next morning, we had all bombarded her with tons of pictures of all the kids, dogs, flowers, vacation pics and of course silly face 😛 pics.She called me so excited and wanted to tell me about each picture (there were about 300+). Now we all just randomly send her new pics and she absolutely loves it.Highly recommend! Will probably get another for my house too.

This photo frame essentially seems to be a basic android tablet with touchscreen and an added motion sensor. Of course the software is custom to vPhoto. I found it was very easy to connect to WiFi and connect the app to send photos.What's even cooler is the feature to add emails and then you can just email the address they give you and it automatically adds the photo to the frame.I got this for my mother-in-law and now any of her kids can email photos and they show up right away at her house on her frame! How great would this be as a gift for those who are not tech savvy? I will be getting these for many of my older relatives to share photos with them. In the app, you can even send the same photos to multiple vPhoto devices at the same time!It also has a motion sensor so it doesn't keep running when no one is in the room.I tried to send a small video over email and it failed to play back properly so I'm guessing it only takes some formats. This is why I took off one star.Other features:It can play music (but you don't want to do this the speaker quality is not good)It shows the weather on the home page (set your town during initial setup)Clock - You can show a clock face or digital clock (not really impressed by this)Alarm - This could be useful if you keep it in your bedroom, but I doubt it will every get used.One last note! The ratio on this is like a widescreen TV, not like a 4x6 or 8x10. So, depending on the ratio of your images, you will see extra space to the left and right for most photos (or top and bottom if it's extra wide like your phone screen might be). The frame automatically adds a colored frame based on the colors at the edge of your image, so it's a good effect.If most of your photos are vertical in profile mode, you can orient the frame that way and it automatically senses the rotation and adjusts.

This digital frame solved my problem of wanting to change photos during different seasons or holidays. I like that you can operate it via the app. The screen is touchscreen so you can swipe on it as well.Customizable settings allow personalized photo displays with slideshow modes, background music, weather, calendar, and more.It's a frame great for home or gift.

This is one of my favorite things I've ever bought. Easy to use and being able to sync multiple digital photo frames is awesome. I love seeing new pictures added and looking at old ones as well.
