I drive a hgv for a living so these don't get as much use as some other jobs but the sole has split after less than 3 months use so are now letting water in. Useless now. Waste of money.

I have worn hitmars shoes for the past 2 years or so, I preferred the older ones that had the holes in the sole as they gave a little bit more bounce and comfort. -- those are now out of stock, so I had to order these as a last resort.These sole grips are much tougher and longer lasting than the old sole (much better for outdoors/wet surfaces) - however - they are also harder on your feet and less comfortable. Hitmars should make an updated pair of these shoes that has the old sole material as the mid-sole, and the new sole material as the grip.the material on the cap is the same material as the sole, in older hitmars shoes it was a thin layer of fabric between the cap and the steel-toe. I'd say this is a positive update.[edit 1 month on] if you're the type of person that double-socks then you'll find that these shoes are a little cramped at the cap, and they might not work that well for you.

From a comfort point of view these are great. Lots of cushioning in the sole and breathable upper so your feet don't get too hot.Look good as wellTrue to size. I'm between a 9 and 10. I got the 10 and have a little room to play with.
