## Description

Mudvayne - Beginning of All Things To End - CD - EAN 5099750762325

Review: Five Stars - Another great album
Review: A nice little package - For people that don't know, this is a re-release of the origional demo that Mudvayne made called 'Kill, I Oughta'. It states on the packaging that it has been unaltered and the reason for it being re-released is 'an effort byt Mudvayne to protect our fans from being taken advantage of in the future... either on the internet or by bootleggers'. It goes into more detail but you can get the jist of it from that quote. As for the music, it's easy to tell that it's Mudvayne but the general sound is a lot more rough than the L.D. 50 album although I guess this is to be expected from a demo. The songs still have those heavy guitar riffs and the vocals are equally good when he's singing, shouting or even growling like on the track 'Cultivate'. Basicly, if you enjoy L.D.50 then there's no reason why you shouldn't enjoy the songs here too. The 'Dig' remixes obviously weren't on the origional demo,I suppose they are like bonus tracks. I don't usually like remixes but the 'Everything and Nothing remix' is actually quite good, it dosn't change the song too much but still makes it sound different. The 'Future Evolution remix' is a bit more dancey although it still uses the guitar riffs and vocals in places. The track L.D.50 is all the interludes from the album rolled into one 17 minute track, I must admit I usually skip it on my CD player but it's still worth a listen. I think you need to own L.D.50 to really appreciate this CD, but Mudvayne fans will most likely enjoy it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Raw mudvayne with a re-released demo b4 LD50; not as good?
*by D***M on 22 December 2001*

You may be unsure if this demo album will be as good as LD50 with its complex structures, vocals that fluctuate between powerful screams and innovative melodic lines, unique and godly drumming, addictive guitar work and distinctive bass riffs. Mudvayne have however said that this re-released demo album doesnt reflect the present and generally suggests that it may not be as good as LD50. Having said this the truth is in the listening and they are just as impressive as in LD50. Although there are just 8 tracks, they all boast the musical abilities of the band and are very good songs to listen to. This is one of my favourite cd's and to answer if it is as good as LD50 ..oh yes!! So, if u love mudvayne you'll buy it anyway, if you like mudvayne you have to own this cd!! And if you are a newcomer to this band, then your probably advised to start with LD50 as it has more songs containing stand out tracks like dig and death blooms amoung others. The only thing that is slightly disapointing and confusing is two remixed tracks of dig in the form of dance music!!! so if your buying this cd for these dont!! This is by no way enough to lose a star over though ..its a very impressive album.
