Have used for past 18 months or so. Nice, sturdy, cage for the price. Makes an excellent chick brooder. (See attached pictures.) Would probably also be great for rabbits, ferrets, quail, etc.When it first arrived, it took me about 90 minutes to unpack & put together.I really like the large top door and large end door. The hardware on doors is of good quality unlike many of the commercial coops/cages. There is no bottom to cage which works great for my purposes. It is easy to remove used wood shavings/litter, etc. by reaching through the doors and scooping them out with a dedicated dust panGood quality finish. I have only used it in the garage so cannot speak to how finish would hold up outside in the weather.The only thing I wish was different is that the hinges on doors were removable. Have not yet had any problems with the hinges but if you did it would be nice to be able to remove them & replace them. They are welded on which is nice-unless you need to replace them.

This is a nice concept. If I could change anything, I'd work on rust-proofing the cage. I've had it for about a year now and there are some areas of the frame quickly rusting. I really like the access doors and how they add to the versatility of the cage.

Upon delivery of the product I noted the box was massive and rather heavy, which could explain why some of the side panels arrived damaged. The damage was minor however (bent screen), and didn't hinder assembly which was straight forward. I noted the hardware included was cheap, but appears to be some form of stainless which should hold up for a little while.Upon assembly and placement outside I noted the cage started rusting within days. After less then 3 weeks outside one of the welds on the upper door hinge completely broke off, making it difficult to open the door and putting it at risk for collapse back into the enclosure possibly injuring an animal or allowing an escape. An examination of the busted weld showed that less than 1/8th of a inch of actual weld was present, with the remainder being just a bubble of welding rod that didn't actually make contact with the frame of the enclosure. It doesn't get much cheaper then that, and I'm now very concerned about the construction throughout the rest of the pen.Had it not been for the poor weld quality, this would be an excellent outdoor pen. I can forgive the rusting as it will take several years before structural decay occurs, far outlasting a similar wood enclosure. However be warned, the large swinging top door could break at the hinges and hurt an animal or yourself while opening so use caution.

Sturdy design. I have ordered several sets now. I had one come with a broken hinge and three pieces with broken “screen” one large enough for three fingers. My first set has only been up for 4 months and is rusting already.

I ordered this to house my ducks at night due to our local bobcat killing 2 of them. Thus far it has worked fantastic. The bolts and joints do start rusting pretty quickly, but even then it still works perfectly fine. I’ve had this for 3 months and it still is as sturdy as ever. We have Pekins and Saxony ducks, and they have plenty of space inside to sleep, eat, walk, and have a small bathing tub with water. The bobcat cannot get to them and cannot damage the galvanized steel (we watch her on security cameras). The ducks feel secure and voluntarily go in at night. I think this cage was DEFINITELY worth the money!

I just ordered my third one of these for my quail. I purchased one, loved it, purchased another, then watched like a hawk for a year and a half for it to come back in stock again. It is strong enough to keep predators out (I watched a cooper's hawk bounce off the top of it once), easy to assemble, and the open bottom lets my quail have dirt baths and otherwise be quail.

cage itself is great but one of the hinges the weld was bad so it was off when it got here. Glad my neighbor was able to weld it back on for me. I got this for quail, so had to still do a bottom myself but that was easy enough.

I bought this a year ago for wildlife fostering. It has been in the elements, in Florida, the entire time, and all the hinges and locks work well with occasional upkeep with WD40. I open each door at least once a day, if not more. There is some rust, but nothing that impacts its ability to work and not to any extent that has damaged the integrity of the cage. No complaints here!
