Great item when you can catch it on sale

I wasn’t sure if a cordless grinder could deliver the same performance as the pneumatic tools I’ve been using for years, but this device completely exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly lightweight and portable, making it ideal for tight spaces and jobs where dragging an air hose just isn’t practical. What impressed me the most is its versatility. Whether I’m grinding down welds, removing rust, or polishing steel to a near-perfect shine, this tool handles it all with ease. I’ve used it with 2-inch and 3-inch abrasive pads, and it powers through every task like a champ. The best part? It’s compatible with the battery system I already own, so I didn’t need to overhaul my setup. If you’re looking for professional-grade performance in a portable package, I can’t recommend this grinder enough. It’s a game-changer for anyone who needs power, precision, and convenience all in one.

Got it for auto repair/maintenence and woodworking. Amazing torque...I can press fairly heavily using a scuff pad to clean up metal and it doesn't slow down. This is not even comparable to a dremel or drywall cutoff tool. Love the power and 90 degree grip. Variable speed trigger handle works great and easy to keep the speed going. Very happy, worth the high cost.

I have used air tools, but this is a much better.

All in all, it's satisfactory. I had higher expectations but I needed to be more realistic. Don't expect this to compete with an pneumatic angle die grinder. I tried carbide cutters and it will perform but obviously don't expect to hog. If you're deburring, then it's perfect. Roloc pads are about the best you can expect with this, again good for deburr. Guaranteed this would perform if it was 18V but would take away the compactness of the 12V. Do get the biggest 12V battery if you want better performance and longevity.

I have both the Bosch and Milwaukee gen 1 & 2. I’ve had the first Bosch and Milwaukee gen 1 for about 3 years. I did have to swap out the original gen 1 Milwaukee for a replacement because it died shortly after buying it. They are all great performance wise, but the Bosch feels more refined and it’s smoother when running in hand. The Milwaukee gen 2 is the most powerful but that’s not really necessary or most important with a compact angle grinder. It’s more about speed control, smoothness with low vibration and quick attachment changes. I like the quick lock on the Bosch best. The Milwaukee Gen 1 is atrocious with having no spindle lock and having to use two different wrenches to loosen the collet, the Milwaukee gen 2 has a lock making it easier and less cumbersome than the gen 1. Also Milwaukee gen 1 trigger and safety lock is terrible to use, it’s just like the ones you hated on the older air die grinders. The gen 2 got some better but the safety still gets hung sometimes. The Bosch just seems to be easier to use over all, it’s smoother, a little lighter, triggers easy to use and it’s a little more compact.

This did not work from when first received. New fully charged Bosch 12V battery inserted and did not run. I was given a replacement of the same model and it also did not run-same issue. The replacement was also returned. I will not reorder this item.

Great little tool for tight spots

Amazing tool. It's so light and versatile, powerful enough and fits all the 1/4" bits. I regret not getting the 3 amp batteries though. It eats power.

Very powerful. Works as advertised. Awesome for die grinding hard to reach areas. Will only work with authentic Bosch batteries.
