You need to look up in the Mfg. literature for the 2715-20 and see what it takes. I hav a big Bosch hammer that uses SDS Max and these bits worked really well. **Q: I purchased a hitachi dh40mey hammer drill and wondering, will these bits will work for that tool (1 9/16 shank)?** A: Yes. They will work with any SDS Max rotary hammer. The dh40mey is an SDS Max rotary hammer. The 1 9/16 only references the largest diameter bit the manufacturer recommends using with the tool to successfully drill with it. However for carbide bits the diameter bit you can use is often much larger. If the product or tool falls short on needed performance then one must ask one-self; is it product or tool incapacity or failure or is it operator, owner failure? Is it the incapacities of the product or tool or is it the short sightedness of the needs of the task at hand? or is it blatant abuse of the product or tool in ones hands to complete the task. I know speaking of myself that I will put of a project until I can purchase the proper product or tool needed. The alternative is maybe the path of rental but in doing so first of-all ask yourself how much use will this product or tool get if I purchase it and is it going to meet ones needs.
