I bought these after my last set of running boards rusted through (different brand). These were really easy to install, took about an hour by myself. It really helps to have a second person there to hold them in place while you put in the first two bolts. They are nice looking and good quality. They fit easily onto my 2001 Silverado 2500HD. One thing I liked was that it has a support bar in the middle. My last set only bolted to the vehicle at the two ends and had no center support. It does flex some when I step on it, but I'm 220 lbs so that is expected honestly. You will want a ratchet with an extension and a breaker bar. I only needed the breaker on maybe 3 out of the 6 body bolts. They were honestly really easy to take out and then reinstall after the first turn broke free. Other recommended tools: torque wrench, anti-seize lubricant (for reinstalling the bolts).

I just needed a step to make it easier to get in my truck. Wasn't sure which style I wanted, so didn't want to spend a lot of money to see if I liked this style. I am well pleased! Not too hard to install. Instructions are fair. Took me about 3 hours from opening the box and gathering tools to finish. I installed these in my driveway. I'm 57, female w/mechanical skills (just a little harder getting up and down on the ground these days, lol). I am well pleased with the sturdiness! I weigh 175 and feel no give when stepping up. They look very nice. Definitely make it easier to get in my truck! The look great! Great quality and functionality for a low price! They should last a long time.

This product looks great on my 04 sierra but one of the rubber pads will not snap in flat so have to keep making sure it's pushed down since it wants to lift up. The price compared to other similar ones was very good. It was also very easy to install

Installed these on my 03 1500 Silverado extended cab. I wasn't looking for a top-of-the-line product since I was installing them on an older truck. The bars arrived quickly. Packaging could have been a little better. There was a small dent in one of the ends but you can't see it because of where it bolts up against the bracket. Installation was a breeze. Took me a little less than an hour. I would not recommend using a torque wrench for the body bolts. Almost stripped one of the heads due to the age and rust. Use a breaker bar instead. I did not have very high expectations given I only paid just over $100 for these. There is a little flex when you stand on them (I'm 175lbs), but I don't intend on jumping up and down on them, so they should hold up just fine. As you can see from the third picture they scratch very easily. That scratch was done during installation when I accidentally dropped it about 8 inches onto the concrete. But all in all for the price and ease of installation they definitely satisfy my need.

The black powder coating looks sharp and installation was easy! Beware to follow the instructions regarding the use of impact tools on the body bolts. Use hand tools because the locktite GM uses will cause burrs in the female threads and it’s impossible to retap. Work the bolts out slowly to clean the locktite. These are far more sturdy than the stock running boards.

Overall like the steps needed them mainly for my wife to get into my lifted truck, they look great on my truck so I don’t mind at all. Only thing is they do seem to flex a little when stepped on but I assume that is just from the body mounts but the overall product is great quality, brackets are strong aswell. And instructions are fairly easy for anyone to understand took me less than 30 min to install

I was a little concerned at first to attempt put these on myself. But after reading the instructions and getting started, it was pretty straight forward, remove 3 bolts on each side, add the brackets, put bolts back in and then attach running board to bracket. Pretty simple. When I finished, the product looks great on the truck! Couldn't be happier. Quality seems sturdy right now. Let's see how it does over time.

This is the 3rd set I’ve installed on my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71. I really like the look, just wish they lasted longer before the rust set in., considering my truck is pretty much a garage queen. Installation is pretty straightforward, the wife & I had them on in a coupe of hours.
