Pieces vary in size and are pleasant to look at. Some pieces are little smaller than rest. Very nice set but think the price was a little steep for the set.

The variety in decor pieces in this set is wonderful. You can build a whole little cottage scene in a terrarium with the options here. The ducks and the ‘welcome’ rock are my favorite. The little white dog and doghouse seem out of place, but they are appreciated nonetheless since they’re so cute. I do wish that the pieces had more consistent painting quality. Some pieces are painted well, and others (like the fence post and pond), you can tell that there isn’t as much attention to detail to those. The log pieces don’t have the bark wrapped on very tightly either. Overall, the set is very cute and I think it’s a great addition to any terrarium upgrade.

I created a fairy garden with my toddler and these accessories were fun to add. I didn’t like that the scale was different for the items (I didn’t use the bench because it was so much bigger than everything). The paint on the little table and chair also stood out in a bad way, so I might repaint those later. Most items were cute and worked well, though. I painted a rock with water to create another feature since the ducks seemed to need one, so a little pond or waterfall (like the one in the listing picture) would have been good to include in the set as well.
