Q: I have a 2009 sportster nightster. After installing the rear break pedal and linkage my rear tire is locked up. Do I have the wrong linkage?

Probably need to back off the adjustment!

I can't be sure about the 2004 model. Mine is a 2007 and it bolted right up to my frame. All the hardware was included and it works very well. If the advertisement said it will fit your year model, you should be in business with this set.
