Can’t see your hand in front of your face, continue to question your morals dark…and the LORDS series continues to be a wild fantastic ride!Carnage is a dark revenge romance told in dual POV from Saint and Ashtyn…Part One starts as they are going through initiation into graduation and Part Two is “after”….which gets even more wild and suspenseful. As all the other Lords, the Spade brothers are all kinds of deviant and ruthless and dark af… this tale is loaded with all sorts of violence and brutality, start to finish. And spice…holy hotness 🥵This book is quite long (and I still wanted more lol). The first half finally answers so many questions brought up in previous books…while continuing to create more. The second half is absolutely bonkers, with so many twists and turns that I again just didn’t see coming! It kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down! The spice is extra hot and explicit and creative and ohhhh so very dark. The angst between Saint and Ash is tangible, emotional, all the feels for both characters… and had me simultaneously wanting to smack them and shake them to get their cr@p together and figure life out! 😂 I personally think it’s worth it though…Saint is 100% u̴ ̴n̴ ̴h̴ ̴i̴ ̴n̴ ̴g̴ ̴e̴ ̴d̴, willing to do anything to keep Ashtyn as his own and F the consequences. He’s one of the Lord Boogiemen after-all…and I’m so here for it!While you can read Carnage as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading the series in order as this storyline overlaps the several books before it and you continue to get more answers from those previous storylines as this saga unfolds which I really enjoyed. The main characters are developed further (I loved the Spade brothers before and I’m 💯invested now lol) and Tessier’s storytelling and surprises are phenomenal as usual. And the spice is filthy and creative and dark…think Sinner dark and keep going…you’ve been warned 😂.I think it’s worth mentioning here that the villain at the end is somewhat rushed and comes out of left field (even though you know there’s much more of a story to it!) so I really wish that part two was more fleshed out and explained, even though this book is already a long one (which I love cuz let’s be honest, I can’t get enough of these Lords!) And some of the scenes can be somewhat unrealistic (but hey that’s the beauty of it being a story and not real; you can do whatever you want with it!) However, due to Tessier’s incredibly riveting and creative writing style, I didn’t find that second part particularly bothersome… Judging from how previous books have overlapped, I have a feeling that a lot of the unanswered, still lingering questions that were left wide open in part two will be explained further (and open up more questions!) in the next book. I had to speed up my listening to get through some of the scenes and see where the plot was going. Man every book in the lords series gets more and more mysterious, I sit on edge of my seat trying to figure out what’s going on. I love saint and ash, I felt so bad that she had left him, not knowing if he was dead or not. There seem to be so many mothers and fathers who treat those kids like crap, it’s a wonder there not more screwed up than they are. I love this series, but man you definitely crash afterwards from so much drama, sex and suspense. These books are freaking amazing, shantel comes up with such great book, how she weaves all them together is just awesome! She’s brilliant! I’m so glad I found her books, I’d seem a tik tok on ritual but never read it until I read elegant sins and then saw the ritual and remembered the video and read it, and man was I hooked. These secret society books are twisted,sexy and suspenseful books! Love them!

Carnage was a roller coaster of emotions. So many unexpected twists and of course all the spiciness we love. Fun read i couldn't put down

I loved Saint. This book ties everything from the first 3 books, because there are no spoilers from Sabotage in this, together. It makes all of the backstory make sense and moves the story forward. It also shows how patient Saint truly is and calculated. Almost on a Tyson level. Which is why Saint was my second favorite lord, until Madness came out, ofcourse.

The most anticipated book since the beginning, tiny little clues throughout the pages have lead us to this masterpiece, it had everything.More lies, secrets, anguish, betrayal & devastating truths.I took my time with this because I really wanted to savour it, feel everything & didn’t want it to end even though it completely gutted me.Saint Beckham Carter❤️‍🔥•A man obsessed, knew who he wanted from that start & stopped at nothing to make her his. Every emotion under the sun and moon was felt. Light to dark, this book penetrated my soul.I’ll be curled up in a ball while I think about my life & deal with this book-hangover. Haven’t had one this bad since the Sinner.Part one tore me open. Part two shredded me to pieces before finally putting them back together. Carnage was devastatingly beautiful.This was a tough one, it’s not for the light hearted. Check your TWs if you have any reservations before proceeding🖤

There is a big miscommunication trope going on along side a secret pregnancy. So Ash did the only thing she could thing of and RUN for her life! But the Spade brothers aren't done with her. She is Saint's wife and they are determined to get her back."Oh, Ashtyn, the things I'm going to do to you will make you beg the devil himself to come and take you away from me."And when he finds her in the club and has his way with her! GODDAMNIT that was hot!Saint Beckham Carter will always be my book husband.I loved every single book!5 star read right here!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“I Vow. You Vow. We Vow”Ok but I don’t know what is in these books but I cannot get enough of them!I loved Saint and Ashlyns story! I really enjoyed how the first part of the book was a backstory to their whole situation and how we got to know all the carnage brothers better!I will say it I’m in love with all 3 of them!I think the thing I love the most about these books is how they are all technically standalones but if you’ve read the previous books there are soooo many connections and when all of these little connections pop up I’m 100% that person that sits and squeals at the book! This book had quite a few of those!Honestly the books are all such great reads! If you’re looking for pure smut WITH a whole side story aka PLOT… AND the best mystery that honestly keeps you guessing to the end and you literally DO NOT SEE COMING you need to read these books!I neeeeeeeeeddd Madness like yesterday!! I don’t know how I’m gonna survive waiting for it!

Carnage had be on the edge of my seat for the whole 24h that took me to read it. I was literally dying to get off work so I could finish reading it. And I listened to part of it on audiobook when I was running errands — Teddy Hamilton is one of my, if not my favorite narrator of all time. Chef’s kiss for Saint, Teddy. 🖤Shantel is a master of plot twists that twist even more and leave you completely shocked. There wasn’t a moment in this book that I felt was dragging or boring. Ashtyn, Saint, Kash and Haidyn feel real, with real motivation and flaws. Sometimes you love them and some other times you want to smack them for what they do, but not in a “WTF are you doing? You’re so stupid!”. You understand the reasons for their actions.There is A LOT of spice, but so perfectly placed throughout the book that it never feels like you’re just reading smut with no plot. Shantel know how to write spice laced with plot and do it so perfectly.And I need to mention these things because I feel some are going to live in my head rent free forever:• The Spade brothers riding their bikes.• Haidyn… Just him.• Kashton + a hook = perfection. It reminded me of I Know What You Did Last Summer, only with a different type of hook.• Chapter 56 forward… I cried, I yelled, I gasped, I almost threw my kindle to the wall…. What a third act!!!
