Back to the Roots Succulents & Cacti Mix

I’m still a beginner with succulents and cacti, but this mix has been really easy to use. It feels light, drains well, and my plants seem happy in it so far.

I’ve tried a few different succulent soils before, and this one has worked really well for my plants. The texture feels light and gritty, which is exactly what you want for succulents and cacti since it drains quickly and doesn’t stay soggy after watering. I repotted several plants using this mix and noticed they adjusted pretty fast with no signs of overwatering or root stress. It also doesn’t have that strong chemical smell some soils have, which I appreciate when using it indoors. The bag was clean with very few large wood pieces, and I didn’t need to mix in extra perlite right away like I’ve had to do with other brands. For beginners especially, it’s convenient because it’s ready to use straight out of the bag. Overall, a solid organic mix that makes repotting simple and keeps succulents happy. I’ll definitely buy it again.

There's a good amount in the bag and it's been handy having extra soil around. Already used some and still have more left.

Bought for my Meyer's lemon tree. Worked perfect & was exactly enough to re-pot it with the lava stone & birch wood i got. Tree seems to be doing great.

Bought this for my girlfriend. Her hobby is collecting succulents and she needed a more organic mix for when she repots some of her cacti. When we opened this up, there were no bad smells or nasty pests. She has no complains so far so next time we'll buy a bigger bag.
