Q: I am planning on using walnut media for putting on the final fine polish on rocks in a vibratory tumbler. Is this done dry or is water added?

I don't know anyone who has tried Walnut Tumbling Media as a final polish for rocks. Usually people will use 1200 to 1500 grit aluminium oxide or silicon carbide polishing powder with the rock, along with no abrasive tumbling media as a carrier for the grit. But if you want to try Walnut media it can be used wet or dry.
