It did exactly what I wanted it to did, and it was as easy to use.

The set up for this device was reasonably straightforward, but the device was unusable after the first backup. Here are the details: I plugged the drive into my phone and I was prompted to install the app which manages the file transfer. Unfortunately, my phone battery died during the initial backup. After recharging my phone to 100%, I tried to do another backup.The app (or the phone) did not recognize the drive. As a result, I could not do a file transfer. I then tried plugging the drive into another phone and another computer—no response. I the uninstalled the app, turned the phone off, turned it back on and reinstalled the app. No response. No recognition of the drive.After trying similar techniques and reading the instructions, I included that the flash drive was unusable.Since the drive was no longer recognized by the app (or any phone or computer), I am also unsure of what, if any, information was copied to the drive during the original transfer. As a result, I am not going to return it.This item is either part of a scam or just a very low quality product. Do not waste your time or money on this flash drive. It does not work.

I was so excited to back up my photos and for a day it worked perfectly. I loaded about 50 photos and videos at a time without an issue. The app is showing I have used 24% of storage and all of a sudden it will not upload any more photos. Anything I attempt to upload shows up as a solid black picture. I don’t want to send it back because I was able to save a few hundred photos and videos. I will keep trying in hopes that it works again.

You are able to store pictures from phone to flash drive and saves space on phone

I got this for my parents. We wanted to transfer their photos from an I-phone. It was about 9,000 photos in total but they are saved in files, so I was transferring them by file in smaller chunks. It would always start out crazy fast and once it hit halfway, it would slow and than freeze. I worked on this from about 11:30am until 8:30pm, stopping to allow the phone a break and recharge. After I got close to done, maybe about 600 pictures left I put the stick in the phone again and the app no longer recognized the external memory stick. I downloaded the app to the I-pad and tried to check it there, and nothing. I do the same to my Android phone, and nothing. The stick no longer worked. Thank God we didn't delete anything off the phone. I have to now buy another stick from somewhere else and start all over. Such a waste of time and money. I don't want to risk returning it in case our pictures are on there.
