Sweat sweat sweat
The belt is wide and generous in coverage. The Velcro so durable and stays closed regardless of movements and you definitely can see and feel the seat after you take it off. It comfortable as it can be once you start accumulating a lot of sweat it does get itchy or at least I do. But that’s not just this belt it’s others I’ve used before as well.Definitely does what it’s intended purpose is.

It's hot, it's sweaty, It does what it says it does.
This is the year of self improvement right? At this point anything can help to see results. This band adds an extra layer of support but don't rely on it to be any kind of sufficient brace. It's main goal is obviously to warm your core and get you sweating to increase your heart rate and lower your water retention, which it does do that. How much it has helped to trim my waist i'm not sure as i'm exercising as much as I am wearing this but it certainly doesn't detract from my workout nor make my exercises harder to do. It adds enough support that my back muscles don't feel too much tension but i'm still working those muscles. It didn't roll up on my waist, nor scrunch or become uncomfortable for me, the velcro held tight and with a bit of adjusting you'll find just the right fit.

Highly Adjustable Definitely Traps the Heat
This UMAY Fitness Waist Trimmer is a well made wide elastic waist wrap coated with a silver ion material on the inside that reflects the heat your body is producing right back at it. It will definitely heat up your midsection, whether simply passively wearing it or using it during exercise. I actually got it for the purpose of wrapping around an EMS (Electro Magnetic Stimulation) device that needed the support to stay in place and it works great for that, as well. The very fine hook section on the end of the belt attaches to the outer fabric wherever it makes contact, so the belt has a very wide range of sizes from the smallest up to nearly the full length of the belt (subtract about three inches for the overlap of the hook portion). I have the medium size that is about 40" total length so it is really a max 37" belt that could be comfortably stretched another inch to a 38" maximum, or thereabouts. The large size is about 50" total, so that would handle up to about a 48" waistline with the estimated inch of comfortable stretch. As far as the smallest waist they will handle, they could be wrapped around more than once, so they'll adjust to as small as you need. (I'm using the medium with a 29-30" waist and there's no noticeable bulkiness in the overlap.)All said, this belt is of fine quality and should be around for years to come!

Does'nt hold up under repeated usage
The Good: I liked this belt because it was comfortable, it supported without that feeling of having a too stiff belt digging into my sides. The Bad: This silver thermal underside of the belt belt began to show bubbles after roughly 2 weeks of moderate usage. For that reason, I can't recommend this product.Because it's comfortable - 2 stars. Not recommended

UMAY Fitness Silver Ion Fast Sweat Belt for Women and Men
I’m taking a multi-pronged approach to both fitness and weight loss. I ordered this silver ion fast sweat belt for women and men to supplement my efforts while at the gym and at home.So far, I can’t say I’ve lost any weight due to wearing this for several hours per day. It’s important to note that most of the time I’m either sedentary, sitting at a table while I work or some mild activities. The best results have come from times when I’m using the treadmill in a more challenging mode, with a higher angle and faster speed, although I never jog.To me, this device does work under those conditions. It helps to retain and perhaps “build” heat in your core, enough so that area starts to sweat.TBH, I’m trying to keep an open mind about this and really test it over a considerable time, as I think there may be something to this and not just a gimmick. I’ve seen similar silver coatings on some newer tent interiors to block light and heat, and on a heated vest liner, which would help to retain heat, so it makes sense that this same tech could be applied in this way.You may ask, like I did, how is this better than sitting in a sauna and sweating for 20 minutes? From years of experience, I can say any weight lost in a sauna is only temporary. Yes, you’ll sweat it out, but drinking liquids will replenish it soon thereafter. The advantage, I suppose, is that now you can target a specific zone, while wearing it under clothes and doing normal activities or working out. Instead of 20 minutes, it’s all day, every day.Others have commented that it doubles as a back support and I concur. Also, there is a pocket large enough to hold your phone, which is a nice feature that I wasn’t expecting. The material and construction seem top notch. Very flexible and stretchy, durable, easy to wash and comfortable to wear.Since this goes around your belly, not your waist, it’s easy to make the mistake, like I did, and think that since you have a size 40”-42” waist, that a size Large with a 49.2” length, will easily fit. I didn’t consider that about 2”-3” of Velcro needs to overlay the corresponding side to connect.Anyway, I took a gamble and ordered this knowing it would be a roll of the dice. It JUST fits me with enough Velcro to grab the mating surface. If you carry around a tubby spare tire there, then, nope, this is not going to fit, at least not without some modification to it. Measure your belly. This belt will compress and support, so some of the blubber may squeeze upward and this will fit, haha!I’ll continue to attend strength classes and yoga classes, use the treadmill and work around the house while wearing this.
