I searched and searched for a fire pit with a "solid top" (NOT A SCREEN TOP - WATER GETS INTO FIRE PIT OVERNIGHT AND MAKES A MESS)..... Most solid lid fire pits cost close to $800!I saw this fire pit on Amazon - and - I took a gamble on it!I am delighted with the product! It is sturdy and good looking - I would recommend this product to anyone!A. Fitzpatrick

Only issue is it needs more air holes in sides which we put in with drill. Otherwise for the price is a decent fire pit.

Husband loved it. Just the right size for our back patio.

My other fire pit had rusted after many years of use, so I wanted to go with something a little more unique and rustic (without the rust!). The size is a bit bigger than I had expected, but it’s perfect without overwhelming the area.Overall quality and the thickness of the material is satisfactory, with the exception of the lid. The round piece that you grab to lift the lid off of the pit had broken after only lifting it up twice. Had it not been for that, I would have given this a solid 5 stars. It’s still functional, but I see that it will eventually put a strain on the piece and it will break completely off. I included a pic of what had broken.Regardless of the manufacturing flaw (?) on the lid, my kids and I enjoyed sitting around this beautiful fire pit! I also appreciate that there was a grill grate and rain cover included, but I would have preferred a domed screen over having the grill grate.As with my old fire pit, this thing puts out a lot of heat! For safety reasons, I made a level, circular gravel base with a “bowl” of gravel under the pit. This helps to direct the heat down then outwards towards the seating area. When the fire pit is not in use, I place a round exterior solar puck light underneath and it looks very cool! I highly suggest that this fire pit should NOT be directly placed over grass or wood chips… unless you want a HUGE fire!

This is just what I need to help bring me and the kids together doing outside activities. The product works great. I do recommend either having it up higher on a platform perhaps or a heating pad which my wife just bought for it. I’ll let you know how that works sine I now have a small patch of dead grass where it was sitting

Easy to assemble… excellent product… very pleased!!!!!

Awesome product, easy to put together. Comes with a small tool to move the wood, I suggest getting additional tools. Has a good cover to keep water out, a grill to cook if needed, and a solid top to use them as a table as well

So far it looks nice.Haven't used it yet thou.
