Important thoughts up front- the piece is dainty, thin, and very minimal. The beads are evenly sized and nicely colored for each color set, and the piece has held strong for a few days of ongoing wear. I love the messaging and story. The packaging was very well done.I think it is a really beautiful piece, and I will wear it nearly everyday The rainbow effect is there without being too "rainbow", and honestly this matches my entire wardrobe. Really fabulous colors to work with! I layer this with gold or silver, chunky or thin- it adds a fun pop of color (even on its own on a more casual day at home). I also like a thin choker look (maybe b/c I was young in the 90s when this look hit big....idk), but I love the vibe! (Also- you can add a pendant, though note it could scratch the beads!)I see a lot of comments around the price point and will weigh in there too. Is $50 objectively high for a small beaded necklace, arguably- yes. That said, this is something I'll wear and enjoy for many many days of styling and that is worth $50 as the days go on. I could make similar pieces myself, but I would pay more in the raw materials and my own time, so I couldn't personally do it cheaper, either.If you like it and it speaks to you, buy it. Its pretty, very well made, supports a great cause, and I have gotten great use out of mine!

This is an expensive little necklace. Obviously the value is that by purchasing you are supporting artisan communities in Thailand and that is the only reason the price would be justified. But for the cost you’d expect slightly higher quality. The beads are tiny and delicate and brightly colored, which is nice. And the packaging is okay. However, the beads are strung so tightly that the necklace is warped a bit and doesn’t lay flat. It’s too bad because otherwise it would be quite nice.

BOTTOM LINE:1. I recommend this Lotus and Luna turquoise necklace.2. The current price of ~$50 is too high.LIKES:- It is pretty, especially when on.- Stones are nice quality.- Made well.- Has a nice feel to it. Good energy on.- Sterling silver goes great with the turquoise.DISLIKES:- Stones are definitely dainty. Perhaps a bit too dainty.

Absolutely beautiful.. sized exactly as listing states, “dainty 2mm bead” which equates to a seed bead if unsure. Size lets necklace be an everyday favorite- one to put on and not take off!! Rounded in shape and perfectly unique to help show the authenticity! (Note: sizing info IS listed in the description!!) I absolutely love the slight variance due to being handmade by a community in Thailand for a humanitarian relief effort. THIS ELEVATES FROM A NECKLACE TO A TREASURE.. IMHO! A gift worthy of receiving and one I wear proudly.Necklace is tightly strung onto a thread and just the attached clasp and extender are a metal component. See pic’s included and notice the detailing! Amazing- it’s made by hand..!! Wow.*NOTE: ANY beaded or pearl necklace strung on thread WILL 100% LOOSEN UP- It starts out tight for a purpose!! All the quirky bends when first seen, will relax.. not to worry! These will simply untwist and dissipate as string finds its natural position- and when it does you’ll be glad it’s strung tight! **tightness helps avoid gaps of bare thread between beads in the future. (Ha! You ever heard grandma talk of restringing her pearls..?! It’s bc the strand settled and has loosened- and empty gaps are seen between pearls. One must restring- if necklace didn’t start of tight.)I found ‘Lotus & Luna’ to be an impressive project. Founded by all women to enhance our world and empower others. It’s a necklace with purpose and personality, support in a human cause.. while finishing off an outfit or being worn as a daily favorite! This necklace would be cute if it wasn’t so flawed. The very, very tiny beads are not in a smooth, straight line, because they put too many on the string, pulling it much too tight. This is a dollar store item sold at an high end jewelry store price. It’s a huge disappointment.

This necklace is beautiful. It's well made and is very comfortable to wear. It is a chocker necklace but, it's also adjustable by about 2 inches. Even at its tightest notch I can still fit 2/3 fingers in-between the necklace and my neck. It's definitely a chocker but, it's not so tight that it's uncomfortable to wear. I ordered the silver so that it could pair with the other silver necklace I wear. The necklace does pair really well with my other 18/20 inch necklace that I always wear. Since it's a nice fit chocker it doesn't tangle with my longer necklace at all. I am loving this onyx chocker. It looks great, fits great, matches my other necklace in a complimentary way and is very stylish. I'm thrilled with this necklace. It matches everything and feels very comfortable and sexy.As someone who makes malas and other jewelry with gems, minerals and crystal beads I am very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of this necklace. Completely separate of the necklace I LOVE the name and branding of this necklace. It's brilliant! Overall I would absolutely happily recommend this necklace! This necklace would make a lovely gift in any capacity. I'm very happy with my necklace and would absolutely order another style for my self or another one for a close friend of mine. Cute, dainty, little necklace. The beads are bright and vivid colors. However, because the beads are super tight, it doesn't hang naturally. With the cost being what it is I would think it would at least be made out of pure silver, which it isn't. It is made in Thailand, which maybe it would be ok it the artist was getting all the proceeds, yet I'm not sure if that is the case.
