So happy with this purchase. Exactly as pictured and described, and way softer than I had hoped for! It’s heavyweight (they seem to have a lighter knit in other colors). The beige has a slightly warm peach tone to it, which I love, but others may not as it’s not exactly neutral. I bought it for around the house as a substitute for always wearing hoodies. Now I can wear regular collared shirts and still have a hood. But I’ll be wearing this out as well. It’s way too practical, cute, and warm. And the shape is perfect for hairstyles that may not work with conventional hats (messy top bun for the win!)

It is so soft and comfortable. It fits good- keeps air out.

Wear it tucked into your collar or it will shift.Wore it for Xmas in London and it IS warm, but felt like I had on blinders, so had to take it down.It is a great neck cover for warmth and you can adjust it to cover your lower ears if you’re wearing it with a hoodie.

I bought this mainly to use with a coat that does not have a hood. it is a high quality product and I have used several times so far and am very happy with it.

My primary concern was fit and material quality. I was not disappointed. This is so comfortable and warm. Have warn this for days during this freezing winter, usually around my neck, but when the chill hits, pull it up over head. As a man with not a small head, this looks and fits great as well. Large enough even to put another knit cap under for even more warmth. Does not block my hearing when worn up. Acts as a snuggly scarf when worn down. It gives that nice immersive cowl feeling.My wife liked it so much, she immediately started knitting her own version. If you aren't so lucky to have a crafty person at home, this cost of this will spoil you. Just pretend it was expensive. =)I like that the Navy Blue is quite dark. At this price might buy another, maybe the Camel.Possibly not a true balaclava, as it doesn't cover the lower face with drawstrings pulled. But when under another knit beanie, I can set it back a bit on by head and it will cover the lower face. As I said, it's versatile, but I probably wouldn't go skiing in it.

This hood is perfect for those fall and winter outfits that dont have hoods or when you're un able to wear a jacket/sweatshirt. This is especially helpful in a professional/ business setting. My wife wears suits and this hood makes it easy to remain comfortable without losing the professional look(while out and about). It's easy to take on and off as you enter or exit the office. You may get some hat hair if worn too long, but a small price to pay for the versatility this hood offers. Nice gift idea for those more fashionable people.

The hood is light. It fits well on the head. It has a nice tight stitch. Turtleneck type hood. The warmth of the hood is good and blocks out the wind. I feel it is a good quality material for the price. It has a soft texture and feels good against the skin.
