These pants are absolutely amazing. I find it hard as a king legged human being to find pants that are long enough. The tall length in these are just perfect. The zipper quality is excellent. The material is comfortable, stretchy, quick drying and retains its shape. I've been using these on heavy rotation for the last ten months of travel where I took two hiking pants and a pair of jeans and that was it. I was able tonoair these with thermal tights under them and use them for snow hiking. I've hiked them in heavy downpours, hot days.... Basically all weather conditions and these pants have been the perfect pants . They are also so lightweight and packable that I probably could have carried more of them and hardly noticed and weight difference. I love the toggleat the ankle that help keep the pants. That works well for keeping out insects, grasses, and in colder weather, warmth. And even with the toggle loose, the legs have a nice loose tapered fit. So basically, I'm here to confirm for you that all of those reviews you see of people loving Baleaf pants are truly accurate in their praise. For the price, these pants really perform and earn every penny spent on them.

These Baleaf Women’s Hiking Pants are lightweight, comfortable, and made of good-quality material. I really like the appearance and the multiple zippered pockets, which are great for keeping items secure. They did arrive with some initial wrinkles, but a quick minute in the dryer helped smooth them out. I’m very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing more in other colors. I highly recommend them!

I was looking for a less expensive version of the Prana hiking pants and these are pretty close. I'm not a hiker but I like this style of pants because they are cool in the summer (and I don't love shorts). These are pretty nice. I'm a size 2 (5'1", 105 lbs) and the XS fit well. They are straight leg, and a little looser fit than I would like, especially around the thighs. The length is good, I hate when pants are too short (my legs are long for my height). I got Navy and it has grey trim which is ok, it looks nice but I could do without a second color. The Navy is almost a royal blue, lighter than a true Navy. Since I don't hike I could do without the toggles at the bottom but mostly I don't notice them. Overall they are a decent casual summer pant that will keep me cool on a hot day.

I bought these for a backpacking trip in alpine environment (Enchantments in WA State). I didn’t want to spend a fortune on name brand, even though I know it’s a good investment (future things for this single parent). The reviews on these pants were good enough to make me take a chance, and I’m so glad I did! I’m 5’6 and 180lbs, and I went with the XL in black. I personally love a loose fit in the legs, and I could have absolutely done a Large instead — but I liked the roominess the CL gave while also fitting nicely in the waist! I also like to put my base layer underneath, and they layered well. Are they super stylish? Nope. Are they comfy? Hell yes. Do they hold up well in the rain? They do! Do I love the pockets? Yessssss! What about the cinch feature at the ankles? I never used it, because it was actually cold and rainy most of my backpacking trip. I wore these three days in a row and while my body got stanky, the pants didn’t seem to pick that up! They also dry super quickly, which was nice on the trail — I let them hang in a dry spot while changing into my camp pajamas, and they were ready for the next day faster than I expected! I didn’t notice any significant wrinkling. They seem perfect for packing down in a backpack! The material is soft, the zippers worked well, and overall they are a very versatile pair of pants. I’ll be getting another pair in the orange!

I absolutely LOVE these pants. Lightweight, comfortable, fit is perfect. I got them for an Alaska cruise, but find myself wearing them every day, even to work. They are versatile and very well made. I will be able to pair them with a dressier top and get away without needing any formal pants. All the zippers open and close easily. For the cruise, I will be able to roll them up in my suitcase and they won't wrinkle at all. The material is nice and soft, not scratchy. They don't make a lot of noise when you walk, like some similar pants do. I plan to purchase several additional pairs and skip the blue jeans to save a ton of space in my suitcase.

I have the black and blue colors in these pants and really love them. They are comfortable, cool on my skin, just right. I wear them to work. When this pair arrived, I opened the package, took off the tag and immediately it them on. To my surprise, they aren’t the same size. I compared them to the black pair I own. The tags are the exactly the same. I checked the length and this pair is slightly shorter than the black pair. This pair is snugger. It’s almost like this pair is a size Large instead of XL. The waist is shorter. In all, they are just not the comfortable pants I love. However, they still “fit” and I will keep them instead of going through the hassle of sending them back and reordering a larger size. I don’t want to risk that pair not fitting either. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if I will order any more of these pants since I can no longer trust the fit.

Ordered one pair in navy XL and liked the fit and detail, so decided to order a second pr. in balck. Imagine my surprise when they were $12 more! Seems the first pr. is an older version and the black pr. was their newer version with their name imprinted on the leg. SOOO went back and reordered Navy and sure enough they were less expensive and arrived with NO LOGO on leg. The fabric is light weight, the waist is about 1 1/2 inches as opposed to the newer pr. that was 2 inches (too wide) there are ample pockets with zippers, and toggles at the ankles so length is not a problem if you are shorter. Wore them around the house to see if they were hot, they are not. They will pack easily for long trips and am certain they will wash well and dry quickly. Like them a LOT! Would not pay more just to have a logo printed on the leg!

I love these pants! I've bought other Baleaf pieces and have found all to be excellent. These pants are no exception. The fabric has a nice feel, give, and drape, while the zippered pockets are secure and don't pucker or bulge. I didn't expect hiking pants to be so flattering or so well made at this price point. I'm short and the length seems to be fine for me. I'm 5'1" 120 lbs. and bought a size 6, which fits perfectly. Bonus points for the velcro closure at the ankles--that's especially helpful during tick season. In a world where there are hundreds of hiking pants on the market offered only in earth tones, the purple color is fabulously refreshing! Kudos to Baleaf for daring to be a little different with their color palette. I look forward to hiking many miles in these pants.
