Comfortable and durable
I have a valgus(knock knee) knee with osteoarthritis and I need a knee replacement in the future. Iām only 43. And Iāve tried at least 5 braces all from Amazon. This brace is sturdy and comfortable. It gets the job done and I work in a shipping warehouse. The hinges are adjustable for fit around the knee joint. Straps are adjustable and it comes with extra Velcro and pegs for extension and flexing adjustment. The price is very reasonable if you want comfort. U may need to readjust the straps through out the day maybe once or twice but overall a very good brace. No complaints here.

His knee brace is amazing
I had an orthopedic surgeon recognize the knee brace and say this was the one that he was recommend to his patience, but he stopped because the price, I would assume the price you insurance is astronomical but the price here in Amazon totally reasonable, the brace worked well, he gave me the security and the comfort to walk for hours

Comforatble but needs periodic adjustment
Tore the right (interior) MCL and fractured the anterior tibial plateau (unusual) falling down the steps so I needed something that supported both sides equally. This was one of about 18 braces I tried and it is the one I have kept and use consistently. It supports the inside knee where the MCL isn't stable and takes the pressure off the anterior (back) of the knee to allow the fracture to heal. When the MCL felt better I was able to apply a little more pressure so the rest of the weight was taken off the fractured anterior. The adjustments were handy and easy to do on the fly.My only issue is that it needs periodic re-tightening. It would slip down which I realized was because pants ride up and down as you sit, stand, and when you pull them down to toilet. So if you hear they don't stay up and slip... of course they do... and I've given you several reasons why. Just adjust them every once in a while. It is worth the minor adjustments to have the stability and reliability of this brace.

I don't even know where to start on the flaws
This looked so promising and well built, but alas, it had me ready to scream after doing and un-doing all that velcro again and again for adjustments. Some straps open in the front, as designed, and some open in back, as designed, problem is, the ones that open in back also have velcro in the front. Confusing! I measured as directed and ordered according to the updated sizing chart but every person's leg is not the same length, and the provided measurements don't even take leg length into consideration, so I needed to have measured a couple of inches higher on my thigh (where it actually came up to on my leg). Length needs to be adjustable, or short/med/tall/extra tall versions need to be offered. I am somewhat knock-knee'd, so even though screw driver lets you adjust the curve of the thigh and calf some, it was painful against the inside of my knee, when adjusted for support, and the inside edge of thigh and calf cuffs dug in with pressure. Also, the velcro straps have no piece on the pointed end that you can grab onto, so it is nearly impossible to find the ends of the ones that end in back by feeling with fingertips, and once you found it, nothing to grab hold of to start loisening it. Barely can get a fingernail under. Pain relief? NO! Pain in the a$$, definitely! And why is the one for the right leg 40 bucks more than the left one? (Discrimination? Lol)If you are really tall, or particularly long-legged, and neither bow-legged nor knock-knee'd, it might work well for you. It's bulky, heavy, & awkward, some men may be more likely to be ok with that, but most women aren't going to go for that Forrest Gump look in a support brace. Can't speak to how supportive it is, but it did leave a bruise where the aluminum cuff dug into my thigh. There were no details about how to use the flex/extend-limiting pins, or adjustments. Had to find a video (made by a doctor or physical therapist, not the manufacturer) for the similar unloader brace made by same company, to get any inkling how to adjust it. I think this one is well on it's way to earning one of thise "frequently returned product" warnings! It's a š for me!

Needs detailed instructions please!!
3 star review.I like the build, very sturdy. But come on! Instructions to put it on but nothing in terms of installing the different pegsthat limit range of motion.See the photo above. Different size pegs, looks like a pair of ear muffs?, extra pads for placing who knows where becauseā¦there are no directions!Luckily thereās a PT specialist down in Texas who put together a decent video on adjusting this thing.Orthomen, if you are NOT going to provide detailed instructions, at least post a link to this dude and pay him for covering your ass.

Osteoarthritis Helper!
If you need a new knee and you're trying to holdout as long as possible, then I recommend this brace. I weigh 300lbs and have a very crooked joint. This brace keeps my knee straight and happy. It's also surprisingly comfortable.
