I ordered this rc drift/race car out of my sons birthday money as he really wanted a rc drift, its a father & son hobby we have. The delivery was perfect and fast however out of the box the controller would not connect, i did all the correct trouble shooting and it still didnt connect. I contacted amazon and manged to send the parcel back straight away and reveived the money back within 1 hour of sending it, big thumbs up for that. So i re ordered the same one which came next day in the morning, brilliant. This one worked perfect straight out the box and everything stated in the description was as said so i had a very happy son. He loves the car and has already put it through its paces and its perfect still with no issues at all. The battery life is great too, we managed around 28 mins shortest nearly 40 mins longest depending how much you thrash the car. Its very easy to use so all in all id say the car is worth buying, especially for begginers.

I bought one and the controller did not connect to the car, so returned that one and bought another one. Thus one worked fine and my son was very pleased until it came to change the battery. With the new fully charged battery installed, the controller no longer connected to the car ( again), so charged and installed original battery, bur still didn't connect. I have now returned the second car and will be looking else where for one that actually works. I have a very disappointed son as this was a birthday present and all e have had is trouble.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The ‘Remote Controlled Drift Car’ from ‘Goolsky’ is a uber-cool looking remote controlled car which not only flies along the ground at a neck breaking velocity, but it also looks incredibly stylish to boot too.The RC car arrives with no assembly required other than charging up the included 7.4V battery and then put it into the car.The controller is dead simple to use. There’s a wheel along the side which steers the beast, and a trigger which is the accelerator. There’s an added switch for switching the speed setting up a notch (think of it as gears if you like), as well as a switch for whacking it into reverse. Other than that, you have lights and adjustment setting for calibrating the steering.However, one of the main features about this thing is as you would have guessed – the drift it provides. And does this car deliver the goods! Get some speed going, then fully slam the steering to the side and you’ll see what I mean. This thing flings its back end out like its hot.The suspension on the thing is also something to chat about. It doesn’t so much bounce as it does fling itself around like you’re on a bouncy castle. This is not in a bad way at all mind. It’s no all-terrain vehicle, but rather a show-off stunt vehicle, designed to look like its on a wild loose cannon ride. And it does just that.My son absolutely loves this thing. Hey, my daughter does too. They just go out onto the street (we live on a quiet cul-de-sac) and race the thing around the place, over kerbs and under the neighbour’s car.Absolutely great fun for kids and adults too. Let’s not forget us so-called mature folk. I’ve had a blast with this thing too. All research for the review…honestly! Just a great gift for a kid or an adult who’s a kid at heart (like me).

The media could not be loaded. As a huge RC car fan, I was pleased to get the opportunity to review this 1:16 RC drift car. It looked really appealing and, I'm pleased to say, was as good as it looks in the photos.The car itself is extremely well made, using premium components, including alloy supports and components, alongside sturdy plastic parts.The servo, motor and esc / receiver seem to be top quality. They work well and are all responsive.You get 2 x 1500mAh batteries, which have Deans connectors on. You can therefore use the included usb slow charger or plug into a standard RC LiPo charger for faster and more balanced charging.The car has a poly carbonate shell, with printed design on it. There's a clear layer to peel off (I've left it on in in my photos). The shell clips on via standard RC clips.The transmitter feels good to hold and has a proper RC feel about it, with firm sponge steering wheel. The trigger works well and is proportional, along with the steering.The lights are also a nice feature. You can change the halo / headlight operation, but they also flash when turning, which can help you see your direction when racing at speed.The hardened rubber tyres will likely remain fitted most of the time, however you do get hard plastic drift wheels if you want extreme drifting.Overall, a decent RC car that's worth the price at the time of review, based on the quality and the speed that it does. You have 3 selectable speeds on the transmitter, making it perfect for beginners or more experienced users.
