I purchased this cord and the corresponding Eargasm High Fidelity Earplug Shells - Small Shells for Noise Reduction Ear-Plugs and used them at Metallica last weekend in Minneapolis. This cord keeps them connected and ensures when you are jumping (headbanging) or even chewing gum, your ear doesn't move in such a way that it falls out and gets lost on the floor. If the earplug falls out, it will remain connected to this cord and simply be draped across your chest. Get the earplugs and this cord and put them in your clear venue bag so that you always know where to find them.

I now have to play on stage doing some rock and metal shows. After two shows I realized I was really getting tinnitus bad days later. Bought the eargasms and these def let me just have them dangle off my neck and grab when I need. The video how to get them on is a bit lacking took me a few tries to see what he was doing cuz the instructions are more of an ad but look for other reviewers with better pictures and you should be good.

Definitely great for situations when you’d need to take out/put in ear protection during a concert without losing them, but the stretchy material makes it a little difficult to get back into the keychain earplug holder, and also gets very easily tangled in my long hair so I’ll be looking into getting something made of string or metal chain instead.

I like the connector cord, but I tried the smaller ear plugs and they hurt because they were still too big. Pretty sad that they didn't work out because it's hard to find high quality earbuds with a cord that are also comfortable. And they are expensive, so that was even more upsetting. I'm sure they'd work for people with larger ear cancals but I have small ear canals and I wish they had a smaller option.
