Didn’t quite make a month and a half. Died. Worked so well and I was so impressed to be able to safely walk off my frozen porch but yesterday at 42 days old it died. On the positive Mr Rocha at the company is promptly replacing it. Thrilled with this company and will be back for additional mats for next winter!

I just wrote a review on the other smaller heat mat I bought on The Big A. That one was OK, but the wires frayed after about 3 months, so it had to go into the trash. This one seems a bit more durable, it looks like it has armored matting, and it heats up really well. I like it because you can either route it from the back door to the jacuzzi, or throw it over a snowy walkway, and in about an hour it's cleared out. A note of caution: I would give this product 5 stars, but the people who make these products don't put the durability into the wire connection from the mat to the wall they way they should, so you'll have to commit to not moving this around much, or duct-taping it at the spot where the wire comes out of the mat. As long as you're OK with that, then it's a good product.

Doesn’t keep up with the snow and then they wanted me to pat to ship it back. For $600 this should be an amazing product and it is not! Fortunately for me Amazon has better customer service and is crediting me my shipping costs. Ridiculous seller so don’t waste your time.

Works well. it helps to set it up with a remote power control with a timer. Our backward became safe for walking during the snowy winter without the need for salt.

I brought this mat. Used it last winter. It worked great. This year it stopped working. I pulled the mat up and saw, it badly scorched my deck which was installed last year before the winter. I am glad I did not get a fire. This mat is definitely a fire hazard. People be aware. I wasted $700 for a heated mat that worked for one winter and scorched my deck the following winter (this year).Now I have to spend more money to fix my deck. I thought RHS was a reputable company who make quality product. It appears it does not.

This actually works good. It does melt the snow. But it’s a bit narrow for my sidewalk. Get wider if you can afford it. I’m now using it to melt ice on my sidewalk. The snow melts down my sloping sidewalk making an ice rink. I think it will help but no matter what it’s safer to walk on this pad. It’s not at all slippery. I’m satisfied.

Dead at the start of its third winter. Would not buy again.It is not the circuit.

Excellent construction. I bought the 15' and was impressed with how well it's made and how well it works. I just put into use the 10' mat on a day that included a Minnesota blizzard and it worked to perfection. These will last many years.
