Promising Upgrade From the Newport
I've only had the Keen Hyperport H2 sandals for a short time, but my first impressions have been very positive. They have been extremely comfortable right out of the box, and one of the first things I noticed was how much lighter they feel compared to my Keen Newport sandals. The reduced weight makes them feel less bulky while still providing the support and protection I expect from Keen footwear. So far, they've been comfortable for everyday wear and walking. It's still too early for me to comment on long-term durability, but my initial experience has been very good. If they hold up over time, they could easily become my preferred pair of Keen sandals.

Have these for 2 years and still going strong
I've had these shoes a long time now, and they're strong. Not very slip resistant but for the money you can't get better. The material kind of sucks because it's not very comfortable around the top of the feet, but I can't say it's not sturdy. I've been wearing these sandals daily for 2 years now and they are great. The fit is perfect for my feet, I mean it could use another 2 mm or so for the height, that's only because I have big feet. But I have wide feet too and these fit great. The soles of these are very perfect for my feet, it was almost like they were built for me. Only complain I have is that the height of the shoe is a little snug on my feet, these will not stretch so when you get them that's what you get. But that's also good, because if you know they fit then you know you have a really reliable and good pair of shoes for a very long time.

Comfortable fit very rugged
Took these to Hawaii for 2 week holiday, quite comfortable to wear with and without socks (for the plane). The big test was in Kauai jungle canoe and hike as it was a 5+ hour total journey that the only paved surface was the parking lot, from mud paths, mild rock climbing, river crossings, wading in a lagoon of a waterfall and hiking steep rough cliff faces to this performed wonderfully. The traction never gave out the closed toe feature was great as the river and lagoon had rocks you can't see at times even with walking stick to assist. The dirt and grime rinses off quite easily with flowing water the only real slippage was flat rocks with algae some slime on them but I don't think anyone in our group had any traction on those and you try to avoid them anyway as you have to pick and choose your steps in all these types of adventures. Wore them for a week before taking them basically new to the Aloha state, had some mild blisters but nothing too debilitating or needed a band aid on so its quite dependable I feel, closed toe with some some support was important to me, didn't want the flat sandal as I know my feet wouldn't be able to handle that as the only shoe for a 2 week highly active holiday. highly recommended and satisfied with this! (lol the sun tan pattern from this is better than the sneaker with socks tan-line :P )

Comfortable
4.5 feels about right. Very comfortable, with beter cushioning than the Newports. True-to-size fit with a bit more room than Newports. They are versatile, lightweight design, they're great for every day wear. If they hold up I'll revise my review to 5 stars.

Comfortable sandals by Keen. Better then the newport sandals.
Good shoes, comfortable, and I really like the design. It looks nice as well and should hold up for a long time. Some things to know: I typically wear a size 8.5 USA. I had to get a size 9 for it to feel good to me. So maybe the shoes run small. I don't necessarily have large feet, but the 8.5 shoe size felt cramped for me. There was a little stitch at the back towards the heel that was irritating me, and I just used a nail clipper to remove the minor stitching that caused it, and it now feels perfect. Overall, the shoe is great, and if you're looking to get one, it's better than the Newport I have as well.

Great new design!!
A great improvement on the original Newport design. They don’t seem as solidly built, but they are much more flexible and lightweight. Time will tell that to their longevity. At first, I was unsure of the fit, but they quickly stretched to form a nice web around my foot. Much easier to put on and especially to remove than the Newport. The new tread is incredibly grippy. This is the best and most comfortable Keen water shoe I have owned over the past 15 years.

Will buy again!
Love these shoes. They're really comfortable, even after 12 hours of walking in and out of water. My feet never got sore or too swampy.

Solid foot wear - not orthopedic, poor heel cushion.
They fit. Keen is a good work shoe - but these are not doing it for me. I went out of town for a weekend walking around a country town and short little hikes and my back hurt like it had not hurt in two years. I went back to my flip-flops if you can believe it. I will admit I have a 1" difference in my legs and count on the cushioning of the heels. I am saddened :( I had such high hopes. Unfortunately, for me the value for the money is not there.

Good sandals
Good sandals. very well made and great grip on most surfaces. I bought the green color ones before buying the black and both had the same small problem. The left side is a bit tighter than the right. I like a little wiggle room with all my footwear which is why I bought a size larger than what I usually wear. The green ones were the right size but I feel it was a bit too restrictive for me which is why I got the blacks a size larger. This might help make the decision to buy for others like me

Light, enough room for the toe, soft
Light, comfortable, enough room for the toe. All Keen's benefits, but much lighter and softer. Highly recommended

Super comfortable
These are great “in between” shoes for me. Slip on easily. Nice and soft. Super comfortable. Not a hard core hiking shoe but strong enough to go just about anywhere
