Catoma Badger Tent, Coyote Brown

Works great just wish it had instructions on how to put it away, had to consult the oracle to figure it out

I rated this tent a two because it leaked rain, collects moisture, and has no zipper flaps I don't think the zippers are very high quality. Dispite these issues I like the design and ease of setting this tent up but for the price I paid ( not happy ).

I may have been really unlucky but I bought this tent in real good hope to find a light and versatile solution for my backpacking trips and escapes to the nearby desert. It ended up that at first opening the holding system of the steel cable structure was broken and cut the fabric (poor non redundant one screw on plastic holding design),see last two pics on the right. I sent it back and received a replacement in one week (perfect service from Amazon) but this time, one of the two main openings is clearly of another color, see first pic on the left. I had also some issue with the “waterproof” feature at the first usage in some light rain. Thinking to send it back again and start looking for something of better quality. It’s a pity as it looked like a great solution for my needs.

The tent is quick pop up which is good, only concerns are the splintering of the fiberglass tent pole. It’s extremely sharp and will severely ruin your day if you got a fiber glass splinter in your finger on your camping trip. The structural integrity of the tent is comprised of this fiber glass pole breaks. Extremely dissappointed in the quality thus far. Waiting on replacement as these items are not cheap.

The badger looks like it would be a great tent. I wouldn’t know because the burrow bug net was sent instead. Sent it back for a replacement. Same thing happened.
