ISSYAUTO in-Channel Rain Guards Compatible with 2016-2023 Tacoma Access Cab Side Window Deflectors, Smoke Vent Window Visors, 2 Pieces

Super easy to install. I believe it is user error on many applications from other people.I used a heat gun on the 3m tape to adhere it to the raingaurd more before putting it on. I wiped the Chanel clean with isopropyl alcohol and a clean microfiber to dry It. It was about 40° outside when I installed them so I knew it wasn't going to stick right away. I treat in Channel rain gaurds like getting windows tinted, you install them and keep your windows up to form them into the Chanel for a few days, then you can roll them down. I've installed many in Channel rain gaurds on my other cars and I've always done them all this way and they stay for years without coming out. These by far are the most durable and and best looking ones I've bought. I've had AVS on my other vehicles and they crack quite easy from bending and are never the right size. These fit perfect and give the truck a finished look.I highly recommend these. They are strong and solid fitting. Especially with the metal clips that are given to form them into place even more. No scratches on the windows from the clips nor the visors. I wouldn't spend 70$ on them, its a little steep for the price. I would wait for them to be on sale like i did at $48.

Very good product, easy installation.

When new they looked good and functioned well. However after a year they are heavily oxidized and cloudy and the heat has caused them ti warp and melt. To be fair I live in Phoenix AZ and it has been 100°+ for like 90 days for 15 hours a day. Some days peaking at 118° out here. These might do well in more temperate climates but are, sadly, not Desert Rated. A little change to the plastic polymer resin, the addition of a structural rib and some UV stabilizer might help.****Update****Upon leaving this review customer service did reach out to me to make it right. I was offered a full set of replacements at no charge and accepted. They made it right. ISSYAUTO also passed my recommendations on to the R&D Team. Other plastics like headlights and tail lights last longer than one year in the sun so they are looking into a chemical change to the material. I don't expect the new ones they sent me to last longer than the last ones did but when the replacement (free) pair fails eventually I'll be happy to see if ISSYAUTO has corrected the issue and buy from them again because at the very least they do stand behind their product. Upgraded from 3 *** to 4**** just based on follow up after these were well past warranty.

Poor design. The plastic prevented my window from closing at all. The design wasn’t made wide enough to fit the bell curve edge of the plastic and the window, causing my 2017 tacoma to automatically roll down the window rather than closing. Followed instructions and video to a T. Would like a refund immediately.

Great quality. Hasn’t moved since they were installed. fit great. Rain protection great.They are NOT scratch resistant!

These are great... super easy to install. I love being able to crack the windows when the cab gets a little stuffy on long wet drives.
