This bread proofer does not heat up. I can turn the temperature up and it never feels like it’s getting any warmer. I would return it but I’m past my return period.

This was a game changer for starter. My daughter was having issues with her starter not rising. So we bought her this and immediately her dough started rising first time using it. We believe it was because she was keeping the house too cool. Highly recommended if you are having issues with your starter/dough not rising. Each day she would feed it but nothing would happen. It’s super easy to use. Good quality. Good value for the money as well.

I like the Benetton baskets that came in the set the bread proofing mat doesn’t always heat at the correct temperature. You have to keep messing with the thermostat to keep the heat going sometimes overall I think it’s a nice value for the money I paid.

This has been wonderful for proofing bread on the my granite counter overnight. Leave my sourdough overnight, and it's perfect by morning. Especially in the chillier months. Even broke it out for family gathering to keep dishes warm.

The product performed as advertised. It is important to let the mat preheat before putting your container on the mat, to reduce the fluctuations in temperature. I am very pleased with how this product worked, and the proofing time on my bread was reduced because of the more stable heat environment.

Game changer to making sour dough starter.

Arrived quickly. Doesn’t heat up as much as I thought it would/should. But it works well enough for my sourdough. It’s a big mat so you can put a few bread pans on it all at the same time.

This mat arrived defective. It never heated up at all. I returned it. For some reason the return process on this item was very difficult. It took nearly an hour chatting with an amazon associate.
