Pioneer Photo 204-Pocket Ring Bound Photo Album for 4 by 6-Inch Prints, Burgundy Bonded Leather with Gold Accents Cover

I love these albums! Most of all for the reason that you can write next to the pictures-the date, people in the picture, where it was taken, etc. You are not writing on the back of it. My daughter is going through all of my grandparents and my great-grandparents (so her great and great-great) pictures and putting them in these albums with help from my parents on who these people are if they are not identified.

Pioneer makes wonderful albums; it's been my family's go-to brand for years. However, I was disappointed with their three-ring refillable album. The quality of the materials is great, but...the width of the binding is ~2.5", and the size of the rings is only ~1.5". The upshot is that there's really less room than you would think to add extra pages, and there's a lot of wasted girth in the size of the album. It'd be a top-notch product if they made the rings a little bigger.Reluctantly, I'm returning this item and purchasing Pioneer's 300-photo spiral-bound album (BDP-35) instead. It won't be possible to add extra pages, but the album is more compact and holds more photos. I've attached a picture which shows the difference - the bottom black album is the spiral-bound BDP-35, the top two burgundy albums are this product, BTA-204.

I have several of this brand from ~ 25 years ago.They are exactly the same height & width but thicker (which I love!)Very happy with my purchase! I ordered 6 & would buy more but after a certain date photos are all digital.Absolute 5 stars for me

This is a wonderful photo album. The Pioneer brand used to be sold at photo & camera stores back in the day. After disappointing purchases of junk albums from big box stores, I was elated to find this album from a basic Amazon search. I plan to buy more to properly capture precious family and vacation pictures.

Great way to store photos. Had space to add a time and place to reference the photos.

The album pages have room for writing notes beside each photo which is a great feature. The album looks very impressive and is a great value for the price. I will be ordering more.

A quality product . So glad I purchased this to transfer all of my photos (some 300) of the trip my beloved and I took to Europe in 1996. He is gone now so it's a great pleasure for me to look through this beautiful album and relive those beautiful memories.

I love these albums! I put all Christmas pictures in red, our day- to- day pictures in black albums and our trips in green album. I am also a scrapbooker. I always have the intention of scrapbooking the pictures and they are ready to go in chronological order. If I never get around to it, then they are already in an album. I also like how the pages are in a binder. I can add pages, delete pages or shuffle them as needed. I have at least fifty of these albums.
