This is perfect. One simple screw through the inside into the hardwood floor and stops the door perfectly every time

This door stopper looks so cool and chic in my hardwood floors. I have it in every room. When you are installing it, you will need an appropriate sized drill bit to make the hole first, because it comes with an expander. Then your drill can simply drill the provided screw into the expander. A thousand times better looking then the traditional door stops.

This has been very effective as a door stop. It came with a rubber o-ring at the top to cushion a door. The o-ring failed early in its use but I replaced it with a rubber stretch ponytail ring looped around twice. No one knows the difference.
