My feet are on the wide size, so I got 9.5 wide. My feet are very comfortable in then, and not squished like in standard widths. Light as well.

I bought these in the 9.5W for my husband who has a wide foot. It is surprisingly difficult to find a wide shoe. He wanted something light weight and sturdy to wear in the summer for outside work and these fit the need very well. Happy with the purchase. Hopefully they will hold up over time. He has been wearing them everyday. Since they are "hiking" shoes, I hope they will stand the wear and tear.

Fit well and great chusion

Pros: very good fit. Looks good. At abt $65, compares favorably to similar $120 shoes. Combination leather and fabric upper construction. Seems to have some ventilation. Merrell used to sell an open fabric upper. Had excellent ventilation; but not waterproof. So, trade-offs. New Balance has an open fabric upper option. Cons: doesn't have trademark Vibram sole. So will have to see how well they hold up.

Very lite weight. Really comfortable right out of the box. I wore mine on a 30 day trip to the UK. Not one complaint. I will Buy them again.

The material seems nice and breathable.Compared to other Merrell models in this range, the toe box just didn't fit well. I couldn't get a good grip, or maybe too much grip in the wrong places even after a long break in. Just not the fit for me.The laces could cut steel, be careful trying to tighten them.

Ordered a 10 1/2 wide and it was more like a 4E (extra wide) and not a 2E (wide). Returned and ordered a regular 10 1/2 and it fits great. I normally wear a 10 1/2 wide (2E), so these run a little bit wide. Well made, super comfortable. , decent price. FYI- The sole is not Vibram, but seems decent.
