I love the look of these! The colors are perfect and I really like the matte look. You can make a really cute faux hawk look with these. You just comb up the sides of your hair so they are super slick- wetting and adding gel can really get that sleek look- and then clip in the banana clip. If you have super full, thick or curly hair you can use two one in front and one directly behind it. Think of a Mohawk for placement. It looks so cute!

Hapdoo 6PCS Banana Clips Hair. I admit it, I went to high school in the 80's and rocked the banana clip on a routine basis. There is just something special about pulling all my hair back and having my curls cascade down like a princess. I got these for my daughter and I both to use. They work exactly like I remember with the exception that these are slightly smaller than the ones I was used to using. Another nice thing about the banana clips is that they are safer to wear than a claw clip ie: there have been incidents when wearing a claw clip and being in a car accident ends up with the claw clip imbedded in your skull. Banana clips are more comfortable to wear than claw clips because the teeth are in the hair and not angled at your head. Hapdoo Banana clips are sturdy and seem to hold well.

The images for these clips look promising and I was nostalgic at imagining an improved banana clip of old. These however look cute, but don't hold my hair any better than the ones of the 80s/90s did in their heyday. I would pass in favor a flat clip with a bit better grabbing power. I could have my technique wrong, but I don't think I'll be buying anything like this again.

I love that banana clips are coming back. I loved these things in the 80s, These look very different that the classic banana clip. They don't work the same way or give the same look, so they aren't really banana clips. I was a pro and the classic banana clip, and these do not go on the same way. Maybe I’m just out of practice; it has been over 30 years. I finally ended up just gathering my hair into a pony tail and putting the clip over it. It seems like that is what the product pictures did as well. Don't expect to get that classic 80s faux-hawk look from these, but they are cute hair clips. I like the clip hooks. I think that's the only improvement that have been made to these from the classics.

This is a set of six banana-shaped clips. Great for holding up long hair. Love the colors of each clip. Well-made! I have thick, long hair and one clip will hold all my hair. This clip makes it more stylish than tying my hair back with an elastic band into a plain ponytail. Highly recommend!
