Good Tough Work Pants with "secret" pocket
My husband needed some new work pants, mostly for knocking around in garage/yard/woods messing with cars and motorcycles, firewood, etc. He keeps messing up his jeans and wanted Dickies brand because his buddy had some. They are very nice pants for the price here on Amazon, where his buddy bought them, a brick and mortar store, they cost about $10 more. It's not a true boot leg, but the leg is really designed to be worn with work boots because they kind of cover running shoes, almost drag the heel. I would say if anything, the leg is just a tad long, my husband has to fold the cuff when he wears running shoes, but they fit over ankle high boots great. They have a cool little pocket (It's not really secret, but I needed a hook to get you to read) on the right leg, it's supposed to be for a cell phone, but I found when doing laundry you can put screws and washers and pliers and a screwdriver, with room to spare (the pocket has little Dickies brand label/patch so everybody can see you wear Dickies and thus are COOL). At least I found the screws, etc. before going in the wash. Speaking of the wash, they are REALLY stiff when you get them. After we made sure they fit well, I washed them in cold on two long agitation cycles with a soak inbetween, they softened up a little bit and didn't shrink any or lose color. After about 5 or 6 wear and wash cycles they hold color and wash up well in cold with other darks. They are totally broken in now, they don't get as soft as camo fatigues because the material is thicker/heavier to give an idea of material thickness/heaviness if you know real Army type fatigues. You just need to hang them up out of the dryer for no wrinkles, you don't have to iron them, unless you want a crease for some reason. He has had them over a month, wears them on the weekend/ after work knocking around, but they could be everyday professional work pants as well. They are much better than the pants you get from a uniform service at a job, at least the ones I have dealt with, worn at past jobs. Double knee, thick material all over, solid construction and seams, big belt loops that keep the belt situated right at the waist (really nice touch for guys that don't have 6 packs, if you know what I mean). Hubby liked the wide belt loops, When he showed me, I got 2 thumbs up on those! These have become his new BLACK jeans (cool, tough, 63 year old, LOL), he likes them so much I ordered a second pair for him. I could easy see paying up to $40 for pants of this quality, TRUE work pants for less than $30 (they sell for more at other stores), SUPER PRICE-SUPER QUALITY, buy them for your husband and maybe he will be SUPER too....Or not...But his pants will still look good. 5 STARS

Ok
Can’t complain. I decided loose was too loose, but the quality and size was great.

Good fit if you get the right waste and inseam.
This is a five star pant with a minus star for finding the right size and small belt loops. Feels the same quality and durability as other Dickie's pants i have owned. The belt loops are small. the 1.5 inch wide belt I have does not move freely through the loops, and near impossible to tuck the extra through another used loop.I had to order several pairs of pants to get the right fit. Though once I did, the fit extremely well. I normally wear a 34x32. The waist was really to small to clasp the hook and they were quite long. 36x32 were long and too big everywhere but the waist. The 36x30, while slightly loose in the waist, not fall down loose or anything, are the perfect length and don't feel or look like parachute pants. I reccomend a size up in the waist and a size down in inseam.

The reinforced knees and the phone pocket make these pants perfect
Functionality is where Dickies truly shines. The thoughtful design features excellent pocket location, providing convenient and secure storage for tools and essentials. The reinforced seams and high-quality stitching ensure longevity, making these pants a reliable companion for any job. The fit is both comfortable and practical, allowing for a full range of movement without sacrificing a professional appearance. In terms of maintenance, these pants have proven to be easy to care for. They maintain their shape and color after multiple washes, reflecting the durability of the fabric and the overall quality of the garment. While the price point may be higher than some alternatives, the investment is justified by the combination of style, comfort, and durability offered by these pants. The brand's reputation for producing high-quality clothing is clearly upheld with this purchase.

Great pants, but run long
I love these pants. They're comfortable, loose in the legs and fit the waist just fine. My only grip is that while I ordered the 30" inseam, they do run long. These are more a 32" inseam not a 30".
