Zoloa•go•go Articulo playsculpture Set

I purchased these sets twice: the first time I bought Artigo and Curio, and immediately after I ordered another Curio set. For me these are masterpieces. I saw them in an Italian TV show where they were selling an original wooden set (like the one exposed at MoMa) at an auction. I fell in love with them. They remind me of Miró, Klee, Kandinsky, but they are also very original. More than children toys, they are interactive art masterpieces where the player is part of the creation process.Unfortunately I found that they are not sold anywhere in Europe. So I ordered them on Amazon US, willing to pay custom duties and change fees (around 30%). I do not regret, because they are as beautiful as I expected (but I would pay more for a "deluxe" version still made of wood). But in the Curio set an important, iconic piece was missing (there were 47 instead of 48 pieces), the one which looks like a black mushroom with yellow soy sprouts on top. Moreover, another piece was damaged (the varnish/decoration was heavily scratched). Since there is no easy return method for purchases from Italy (I should pay for the delivery, hoping that the parcel arrives safe, and probably add an expensive insurance) and, moreover, the refund would be lower than what I paid (probably because of the custom fees and change), I decided to make.a second order for the Curio set. Fortunately this second time I got the full set, including the missing piece and the damaged one. In conclusion, I am happy now that I have the two full sets of this beautiful, inspiring game / work of art. However, there should probably be a better quality control. Moreover, it would be great that these products are imported to Europe and can for example be ordered on Amazon in Europe, without the customs/change hurdles and the full return possibilities. It is also a great pity that almost nobody in Europe can easily become owner of these fantastic objects. Finally, if a higher-price version made of wood existed, I believe that it would have its market, if made known and promoted as it deserves.
